Biryani Ghar - Featured Reviews (1158)
We ordered chicken clay pot biryani and they told us that it will be ready in twenty minutes. They served it in like five to ten minutes which was great. I don't know what their mode of preparation, either they prepare it in traditional way or they cook chicken in the pot and mix it with biryani rice. Biryani was great and chicken was properly cooked. But they forgot to garnish the biryani with fried onions and everything. Overall a great place to have pot biryani.
Biryani ghar is a place where it serves the authentic biryanis and some special items like MURG MUSSALLUM and RAAN BIRYANI on preorder as they dont make these readymade to serve. It's a small place having the Arabic seating and the regular table to the comfy of the customer. I have seen many reviews about their service, that it was slow and have been listening about them. Yes their service is slow I do agree, but some items in their menu are only on preorder and that may take at least an hour for them to cook. So I suggest to preorder them if at all going for them form the menu so that they would be served on time till you may reach. Started off with the Sharbats ( khus sharbat and gulab sharbat), followed by the starters $ Lasuni chicken $ $ Tangdi kebab $ $ Shami Kebab $ Shami and tangdi were delicious and tasty and the lasuni could be better and they dont use any artificial colours to make the food look colorful or tasty, as you may see in the pictures may not be as colorful as we see at other places. We were actually here for this $ RAAN BIRYANI $ Raan biryani is simply the two tender lamb legs marinated for hours and cooked slowly to make the soft and juicy meat and being served on the saffron rice. When we were holding the legs the mest was soo soothing it was just falling apart on the plate and the same is for 4-6 people and is priced at 1999. Coming to the Desserts, $ Badam firni $ $ sheer korma $ Badam firni is the one were I will be back to this place any number of times, as it was made perfectly with right amount of sweet and the korma was good enough. Was here for a dinner session by invite. The ambience was quite basic with traditional ground seating and also Chair seating . Its good for around 20 to 30 people at once. You can easily get a homely vibe in here. We started off with the drinks. We had Gulaab amd Khus sharbat which were okayish. Coming to the appetizers, I simply loved the lasooni Murgh tikka which was fabulous The fish tikka was also pretty good. The hari chutney was spicy enough to balance the mild flavors of the starters. Towards the main course we were served Murgh Mussallam which is a unique hyderabadi dish with the right spices and cashew and almond gravy in which whole chicken is cooked . It is served with Ghee Naan and altogether they tasted great. Then came the Claypot chicken biryani which was good but could have more masala in it. The biryani felt bit bland , despite having an amazing aroma. The desserts were simply the best. I bet you will have the best badaam phirni in here. Loved it. Qubani ka meetha was also delicious. Loved the authentic hyderabadi desserts in here. In brief this place gives you pure good food without any taam jhaam. A sure visit place when you crave for some good hyderabadi dishes and decent prices.
Had an amazing lunch yesterday in Biryani Ghar. It's situated in Madhapur so it was so close to my office, couldn't resist myself from not going. The ambiance is kinda okayish and small but they do have nawabi style seating so that you can sit and eat in a very relaxed manner. First they served gulab and khus sherbats. They're like arabian mocktails. They're quite sweet and not really my cup of tea. Then we were served Chicken Khorma with Tandoori Roti which was really delicious and correctly paired with the roti. It's taste was unique and I haven't tasted something like this before. They can definitely reduce some gravy and increase the amount of of chicken in the Khorma. The Murg Mussalam was an absolute winner dish, which was incomparable with all the dishes. The almond gravy absolutely won my heart. I am not a biryani person but it surely changed my mind and I loved the Biryani here, highly recommend here. The Mandi was okayish, lacks a lot of flavours can surely be improved. The mutton in Mandi was quite chewy and hard to break, can easily be improved. For desserts, we had Badam Phirni and Sheer Kurma. The Sheer Kurma is apparently an eid dessert but you can find it here all year long. It's too sweet for my palette. If you're in subtle sweet desserts like me try Badam Phirni. It was my favorite, it was loaded with cashews and almonds and served in a earthen cup. Absolutely great to end your arabian lunch with.
*Royalty redefined* . . . Follow me on Instagram @tigress_tavy . . . Biryani Ghar, truly goes with its name and gives you homely feels, not just a common home but a Royal Palace feels. The place is spread across three lower seating family diner area and adjacent to it are 4-5 tables and chair diner area. The sufi music and gazals being played inside give you a jist of Mediterranean era or Nawabi era. The music is pleasing and soothing along with the ambience. The lower seating area is carpeted and is quite comfortable with the pillows and cushions kept on each sides. Biryani Ghar serves, clay pot biryani, which is made by steaming the biryani under pressure. Upon my visit yesterday, started with the in house special, seene ka phool, which are lamb chops cut in the shape of a flower. This intriguing starter is appealing. It has to be ordered in advance if you are looking forward to have it. This is most recommended as the mutton is juicy and tender and the flavours are mesmerizing. Secondly had the mutton seekh kebab, which was again so flavourful and tender. Also tried the paneer tikka, which is totally recommend to my vegetarian friends. For the main course, had the Raan Biryani. This biryani serves 4-5 people. The huge Raan piece is roasted so well and tastes amazing along with the flavourful biryani rice. Most recommended dish here. Loved every bite of it. Eneded with kubaani ka meetha and Firni, which were delectable too. To gulp down the heavy mutton meal, sulemani chai is recommended. Overall experience was on point. Most recommended place in Madhapur for dinning with family. They serve Mandi too and the bestseller Vegan biryani. Happy eating!
Biryani Ghar ! Justifying its name and serving some amazing and delicious biryani in the town . If you up for a typical Hyderabadi cuisine you can head up to biryani ghar without any doubt . Coming to the ambience of the place it was very minimalist with traditional ground sitting . Just don't judge this place by its looks and service . A small eatery which can accommodate upto 20 at a time . Was here few days back with my friends to try out their food . Let's start with the review . From starters 1.lehsuni murgh tikka 2.Fish tikka Personally I liked both the starters . Quite flavourful and well prepared . From main course 1.Murgh Mussallam : chicken cooked in cashew and almond paste . Had very mild flavours . 2.Chicken Biryani : This could have been better . Masala was insufficient. Very mild . From desserts 1.Qubani ka meetha 2.Badam Phirni Desserts were really good . Overall a great experience.
We went here today.. To start with we had the sulaimani which has cinnamon, mint and light Assam tea and the aroma is soo refreshing. . For starters we had murgh malai kebab, moogh phali ki kebab and Seen ka phool. Seene ka phool is a once a snack the Nizami kings used to have everyday as the manager told about it. It has cherry tomatoes and mutton perfectly cooked just mild spiced and juicy enough. If you go there do try this dish in particular. . . Coming to the biryani as the management told us they don't want to commercialize the authentic biryani by cooking it for hundreds at a time. They make seperate clay pot biryanis after we order and opens it infront of us. The mutton was succulent, mildly spiced. And the aroma is really worth the wait. It's not the double spiced biryani or something else but the authentic Hyderabadi Biryani made with hand ground spices. Their biryani is definitely something u don't want to miss. . . For desserts we had badam firni and we could clearly get the honey and jaggery taste . The quantity was good enough and tasty too. . . The ambience was good and we have seating arrangement of chairs and Arabian style seating too..
Hyderabad aaye aur Biryani na khaaye toh kya khaakh Hyderabad aaye! And if you're looking for having some freshly prepared authentic Hyderabadi Nizami Cuisine, this is just the place. From Biryanis to Double ka Meetha, this restaurant serves it all. It's got a beautiful and serene ambiance, and the staff is the most courteous I've come across. The owner himself is the chef, and prepares absolutely mouth watering dishes. In frame: TANGDI KEBABS: This succulent meat dish was totally drool worthy, with it's beautiful mild flavours. CHICKEN TIKKA: This too was perfectly cooked and the flavours came out really well. PANEER TIKKA: A perfect option for spice lovers, this was a delicious dish. DOUBLE KA MEETHA AND ALMOND PHIRNI: Both the desserts were really scrumptious, and had just the perfect balance of sweet. The double ka meetha dessert is the best I've had so far, and was super moist and delicious. The Phirni bowl was just as yummy. CHICKEN TAHARI: Beautifully flavourful dish with Chicken Tangdi pieces. CLAY POT BIRYANI: Best Biryani I've had till date. Beats many a popular Biryani places with the beautifully infused spices. SULEMANI CHAI: This is black tea with mint infusion. The flavour is just perfect in balance and is the perfect end to a heavy and scrumptious meal! The absolutely marvelous Nizami ambiance.

They probably make the best biryani in Hyderabad. Atleast they are in the top 10. Their quality and flavor comes out of the biryani.... Tried the Chicken Dum Biryani, Kheema and Mutton Tawa biryani... All three were top class. Takeaway and bulk or
