Okay this was my first time at biryani darbar, haven't been there bt i ordered for home delivery . I ordered for a full paneer butter masala for a price tag of Rs. 130(there was no option to choose for half or full so i guess its full) and a full plate kolkata chicken biryani for a price tag of Rs. 210(half is for 130 bucks). I was qte shocked wen i rcvd the parcel, i got The biriyani for an amount of less thn a half plate whereas i paid 210 for the full plate beforehand, wid only a small thigh piece n half an egg n paneer butter masala at the size of a baskin robins small ice cream bowl . I mean wat the hell did i just ordered?? I simply paid an whopping amount of 365 bucks (which is insane for one individual for a meal accr. To me ) i really felt cheated !! Bt cudnot do anything n jst thot let be an experience , shall not order again frm this place bt i must admit the biriyani n paneer butter masala was heavenly !! Though it wasn't the authentic kolkata biriyani, it was a lil spicy for that level bt otherwise the chicken was dripping wid its juices and was amazingly tender !! If they work on their quantity , shall order again in future Have attatched some piks
Too oily, too spicy, full of masalas but doesnt even have the authentic flavour of birayni. I dont even know y its called biryani. Its d worst biryani i had eaten in my whole life! Its jst usless masala rice. Complete waste of my 500 bucks and a very dissatisfactory experience.
It has improved a lot since the last time I visited... The decor has changed completely... it looks more spacious now... About the food, its good.... I tried the veg biriyani here.. it was satisfactory...
Guys!!! I am from Hyderabad and I know the taste of Dum Biryani and will be caused by steam. This is not a dum biryani, it is fried biryani. Low cost. But, Not a good mouthful. No hygene.
