Heard a lot about this place. Tried it yesterday. It's a takeout only place. No proper place to wait till the order is ready. It's better if you order beforehand by call/app/website. Ordering through website/app has its own perks (discounts and offers). In person pickup helps with 10% in discounts. Coming to the taste. We ordered kathal and paneer biryani, of which kathal was better tasting. The packing and providing dum to the biryani was excellent. However the taste could have been a notch or two better. The salan is not that good too. I've tried the salan of other places and found other place salan much better tasting than theirs. Overall a decent experience, can rate to 3.5-4

I bought a paneer dum biryani for around 400 on swiggy. It has only 2 piece paneer and 4 pieces of capsicum and rest all rice. Biryani by kilo claims to send 10 pcs paneer which is nothing but a marketing lie. Taste is sub standard too. If you wanna eat good eat roadside but don't waste your money on rice. Disappointed. Worst biryani i have ever eaten. Unnecessarily overhyped. Not tasty at all

Yesterday I ordered egg biryani and found chicken pieces in that. What these guys promote saying that they make separate biryani is wrong. They actually make pre cooked biryani. I paid for what I did not have. Very bad management!!

Ordered Paneer Dum Biryani, Chicken Ghee Roast and Matka Phirni. The order was delivered on time and the packaging was great. Paneer Dum Biryani: Paneer pieces marinated in freshly ground spices and layered with long grain basmati rice and dum cooked in handi. Biryani was served with raita. The quantity of biryani was good, but the taste was bland. Chicken Ghee Roast: It consists of fiery red, tangy and spicy boneless chicken with a flavor of ghee roast spices. It was delicious. Matka Phirni: It was creamy, thick and had well balanced sweetness. It was yummy. Overall, Biryani by Kilo is a good place to order food.

I had heard a lot about this outlet and I thought why not give it a try. This place is really amazing serving Biryani in the best authentic way. The Biryani came in a beautiful Matka and they even offered a very nice aanch to heat it. This place has great options to all the vegetarian as well as non vegetarian. * Paneer Dum Biryani:- This came in a sealed matka and they made sure it reached me hot. The Biryani was nice and delicious. Good fluffy rice with nice tender 14 Paneer chunks in HALF KILO. Came with Salan and was so delish. This place will take you to a different level of contentment! Such an amazing experience after such a long time! Biryani served in an authentic style in handi with curd and onions. Woww! Highly recommended!

The food was fresh and awesome. Then we also had dessert and that was really good as well. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. It's definitely not like other expensive restaurants and you only get a small amount of food. I am definitely going back. Very new in concept mataka biryani...only take away no dinning space..very clean and hygiene kitchen.. They also give some chula(small candles) to make biryani again hot.. Best in taste Good to buy

This is a great restaurant for having biryanis and non veg appetisers. They give an aanch to heat up the earthen pot which gives an extra punch of flavour to the dum biryani. Tried- Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani, chicken 65, raita, salad

I ordered many times. But they have started sending stale( basi) biryani. Who does not feel good. Can't compromise on quality and hygiene related to food. That's why anyone would be ready to pay more than others. Tried contacting the shop but didn't get a response. Not ordering anymore from BBK chain
