We visited the Biryani Bhai,Fat Panda's kitchen in Gangtok MG Marg at night to have dinner. It is couple of staircase down the MG Marg road in Gangtok but inside it has a great ambiance with very big hall for sitting area and also bar counter where you can have your favourite drinks available. We ordered two Kolkata special biryani with egg, potato, raita and salad. This was second time trying this item and was very much confident of consuming the whole of it but the food was more and I couldn't finish it up. So suggest you to share and eat.

Tried the restaurant at MG Marg in Gangtok & we were delighted to have those scrumptious, finger-licking foods. Really loved the taste of biriyani & the chilli-fish was also lip smacking. The behaviour of the staffs was also friendly & polite. Do visit the restaurant especially if you are visiting from West Bengal as Kolkata biriyani is also available there.
Found this amazing place in MG Marg. The food was heavenly. I am very much amazed by the decor and theme of this restaurant. Just loved the quoted frames. We had our dinner here only while we're in Gangtok. Highly reccomended.
That was our first day in Gangtok, we were out for roming and shopping at MG market then we realized its almost 9.30 pm and we didn't place our dinner in our hotel. So we were searching in few restaurants and foud that their kitchen has closed, luckily we have found The Biriyani bhai . Then we had our dinner and drinks like heavenly. The Chinese cuisine are mouth watering and tasty like so fresh and made with delicately. Then next evening we again visit for the best dinner in the town. And we were not atall offended on 2nd day also . The ambiance is subsequently the most dramatic with a retro and modern fusion. The punch lines frames are so eye catching and funny too. In the Bar counter "kal se daru band" and in the entrance "bota kisko bola bey" was touch woods for us. We have enjoyed our two special evening there with good food and peace of mind.
The food was terrible. I ordered from dash they raised the price. The order came at about an hour. I had ordered the kolkota biryani, a plate of butter roti and dal makhani. The roti was priced at 80 rupees. And i recieved one plain roti no butter. The dal makhani was terrible. The biryani was too dry. The quantity of the raita was too less which we couldn't even eat because it was spoilt. The packet it came in was about to burst. Never gonna eat or order from here or recommend anyone to eat. Worse part is the name of the place is biryani bhai and the food definitely doesn't live up to the name.
I ordered mutton biryani from this so called Biryani Bhai restaurant but the food was so pathetic iv never tried this kind of Biryani in my life till date... pls do not cheat on customer delivering a horrible food like this, i will never suggest anybody to try food from this discusting restaurant ever...a big no no to try food in this restaurant
