May be only specialized orthopaedic hospital that offers free knee surgeries to economically weaker sections irrespective of religion and residence. Managed by BIRRD trust under Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. Hospital is run through the donations by devotees of Sri Venkateswara swamy and other good Samaritans and voluntary service contribution by some of the senior doctors from different parts of the country. Recently new block and more operation theatres are added.
Birrd is a best hospital in the Svims. But some of the doctors are rude and misbehave to the patients. But some are very good and humble. One of the doctor I visited is vishal. He behave impatient and rude towards my father. My father got upset when he came out.. Please remove the doctors like vishal

Police at the gate is very rude he didn't allow me to go inside even though I took the token he said come tomorrow.. i entered the buliding and even the op registerer didnt show respect elling at me for coming late i reached there by 11:30 such a waste hospital to get admission here we need to break legs and come so they will receive or not idk.. its not at all a hospital in my view.
Worst management and poor facility For 1admission waited for 1 month but not admitted even though admission wrote in case sheet by doctors
Very great & wonderful hospital. It is famous for bones related operations. It is God' s gift. Laks of people get benifited with this. The main minus point is not providing cool drinking water in summer. For that we have to go to SVIMS, besides BIRD hospital. Here OP starts 8 am morning. Here it has wash roonms for toilet & bathing wich is free of cost. So no problem for long distant patients. When you come ti Tirupathi for this hospital, you tske rest at nights in VISHNU NILAYAM which is opposite ti TIRUPATHI railway station.
Worrest behaviour of staff without patient they are not giving even op I don't recommend this type of hospital's be careful
