I thought i will book this room since it will be cheap and best. But looking at owners replies here, decided to not book.

I was there for one day and the room is good but the beds were bad in condition, and there is no room service but they collect money from u while booking
Visited this lodge as it is mentioned in the temple website, Rooms are dirty with stained bedsheets, toilet with no door, leaking commode, dirty washroom you get for 300 Rs. We reached around 2 PM he asked to vacate before 9AM ( not 24 hrs). After seeing this pathetic condition we decided to book the room in a lodge nearby.
First they will say that the room is empty then after reaching there they will say that the room will be available only for 1 night. If you are coming with family then please don't even think of coming here. First they said that the room is available, after that when we reached here with all the goods, then said that all the rooms have been booked here. 1. Don't come with your family. 2. The Reception staff has no guts to speak. 3. The Reception staff didn't care about how far you've come and how tired you are.
It's just 20 steps from Meenakshi Amman temple. I didn't get any room because they tell it's housefull. Receptionist uncle looks happier and way of talking is good. Cheapest rest room as ac room -Rs500/night Double bedroom -Rs200/night Triple bedroom -Rs300/night.
Very nice resthouse, that's why it is always fully occupied. Cheap and best rooms are available. This is located in car street of temple itself.
My stay at Nithyaa grand was amazing.. it is one of the best hotels in madurai. Rooms were clean and neat, and the location was more accessible. I will give full star for the staffs for their humble service,especially the staffs at the reception both
