No room service is provided, it's all self help

As it is a dharamshala, the ambiance is different from any commercial hotels. It is a huge property in heat of Uttarkashi town just opposite the bus stand. Also mall road, Viswanath temple and other important points are just in a walkable distance. Price is very reasonable and 4 people can be accommodated in a room comfortably. Room size is big and with separate 4 single beds. Just outside the hotel there are a lot of options available for food. Hotel also have a parking space. Overall it was a pleasant stay in the Dharamshala.

Very nice place to stay at in Uttarkashi. A beautiful park inside, lots of greenery. Situated just opposite to Uttarkashi bus stand. 1.For solo travellers - Rs200 per bed per day is a good option 2. Family rooms are quite expensive from Rs1.5K onwards

Best place for budget stay. Dormetory and rooms availanle. Just carry your own double bedsheet as sheets may not be fresj.

Nice rooms at a decent price. Always running hot water. Parking on premises available. The staff is also helpful. There is no view from the dharmshala as it's on NH 34, in the main city but everything is accessible within walkable distance including a petrol pump.

Was looking for accommodation in Uttarkashi and found this Dharamashala which is opposite of Bus stand. We asked for a deluxe room which was mentioned 990rs but was denied, but after again requesting it was offered at 1500rs. We were tired and thought of taking up the room at higher cost, but suddenly a woman came complaining about the ventilation in the room, so the care taker replied to open up the windows. Which change our mind to take room here, as no ventilation in rooms + mosquitos from outside will eat you up. So decided to check out other places.

Easy on the way spot for a day stay. The prices are reasonable. The bed sheets and pillow cover were dirty. When asked to change they said this is all they got. This place has no restaurant and room service. Plan accordingly. Nearby eateries are kind a ok. Can't expect much from this place. However this is the cheapest but descent place for a short stay.
