For city like Hyderabad this is good. Of course shouldn't be compared with small places with natural beauty and birds.
Nice place for bird photography. The lake has a variety of birds in good season (usually winters or early summers). The surrounding areas are good too and several passerine birds can be seen - however that is really upto ones luck. The banks are good for early morning walks and a lot of folks are seen taking their early morning strolls. A good place to go for bird photographers or morning walkers.
This was awesome place to visit. Specifically during month of Aug to Oct. Lot of flemingos and other new birds you can find here during this season. Nice place for photo graphy. You will feel very refreshing if you visit early morning hrs.
Nice place to visit at morning times, pleasant, lots of greenery, calm atmosphere. Lots of birds to watch. Some of the approach roads shown in google maps don't exist, better goto Ameenpur Saibaba temple first and then go towards this place.
Please visit in monsoon season, lot of peacocks. Amazing lake! Best spot for picnics.
We nearly spent 6 hours , bikes can to some extent . After that you have walk around.
We can't be certain about the number of bird species availability each time but will not be disappointed. It's not a paved road so can't prefer during rainy seasons.
