Place on the amrutanjan bridge. A part of old highway. Wide enough to pass the traffic. One lane at each side is occupied generally by people parking their vehicles to click the pics. Good place to relax for a while. In monsoon season vendors sell boiled Corn and (Bhutta) maggie etc here.
The place has a great view, but if you sidelines the view all you can see is garbage lying around where you stand.. hope visitors keep this in mind and don't litter around.. recommended for potrait images of your self and vehicles

I make it a point to halt here on all my trips between Bombay and Pune. Especially during winters. Usually crowded on weekends with hoards of bikers, couples and hawkers filling this place up. On weekdays, its just a handful and on a couple of occasions, it just has been me. Hills on one side, the Expressway right below and Khopoli at a distance, alongside endless mountain ranges. A lovely spot to stretch your legs when on a long ride.
Good place to chill. This place is on the old Mumbai Pune highway going towards pune, just before khandala. The view here is awesome. This place is just a bridge between the highway. So very little to no parking space you would have to stop the car on the side of the road. You cab sit on the side dividers on the road to enjoy your view or you can also sit in the small shops on the side of the road. There are many small shops on the side of the road. They provide maggi, boiled corn, cigarette and chips and some beverages such as water, coke Mazza and so on. And also can get pink guvava. The food here is good had masala maggi and boiled corn very fulfilling. Will recommend to here to enjoy sunset with a bowl of hot maggi.
Best place to see sunset. We were going from Mumbai to Lonavala by bike and trust me road is amazing and its lifetime memory.
The whole Western ghat range is so landscaping, this drive of Khandala valley is breathtaking, especially when you have clouds and drizzling rains. My best choice to enjoy this whole region and monsoon is on bike. From July to October you will have such beautiful ambience with traffic from Pune and Mumbai, dont forget to enjoy monsoon eatery my best favourite one is corn.
