A variety of birds are there from India and all over the world. You can found Pelican, different Strokes, different types of parrots, emu, ostriches, hill myna and many other birds. Both white and normal peacocks are there. Need little bit more area for some large birds. This has been recently restored all the birds are kept in this place & is almost an open place giving the open space to spread their wings and roam around freely. Newly built and is pretty good
Beautiful zoo.I had nice experience here. Modified bird cages are now present... in earlier days, this place is famous for migratory birds, but nowadays these kind of migratory birds are not interested about this place, mainly for pollution related effects... Various types of bird species are available here... this is an attractive place for young children and kids... overall its a nice place, separately designed for the birds only, but little dusty place...

Nice place different kinds of birds are available in zoo. Especially in winter migratory birds are available.
Alipore Zoological Garden lacks name but deserves in case of the wide range of aviaries which it possess. From local to exotic birds - the oldest Indian zoo contains some rare and some popular species here inside its enclosures. One must watch at least this section of the zoo.
