Had a blast, it was really fun to interact with these wonderful joys with wings and the staff here are also kind and some even gave treats to hand feed the birds. The birds here are of 4 categories, ones that are scared, ones that observe us from a distance, ones that come close and ones that don't care. The best ones are those that stick to the bird keepers and will jump to us suddenly. Had the most enjoyable time of my life over here. P.s. You can also find small animals like rabbits, hamsters, mice, squirrel, etc too
This is must visit part if you are visiting Indore zoo. There are so many exotic birds with natural setting, it's altogether a different experience. In addition to birds one can see rabbits and iguanas also. You can even make the macaw sit on your hand or shoulder at the end of aviary path. 30 Rs ticket is worth the experience.
Bird Aviary is the best place to visit in Indore Zoo. Pls don't skip to visit this Bird Aviary if you are visiting Indore Zoo. This is located just opposite of the snake park. You have to buy a separate ticket to enter this amazing place, but don't worry it's really worth. You will not regret it, and will enjoy it a lot. You will have a different experience between these beautiful and amazing birds.
I was not expecting much from the Indore Zoo, but the Zoo did surprise me. Variety of animals is average, but the best thing about the Zoo is its Aviary. So many beautiful birds, colorful and chirping. It was an amazing experience. The only thing I did not like was that you have to pay extra to visit the Aviary, but the price is nominal so its not a big issue. Read less

the nehru Zoological Park could be better organised. Outside the main gate it is a bit too chaotic and noisy and dusty with broken roads but that's Hyderabad. The zoo could have done with more logical signposts to different enclosures so that we don't miss a single creature. The safari rides last 15 minutes but give you a good look at lions, tigers, bisons. Lots of schoolkids on their school-organised visits lend to the nice feel of the place. Most commonly known wild animals are here.
The Bird at aviral was very good and the facility of that place is best .
Must visit this place in zoo, you can see and click pictures with friendly macaws, make sure you are with the volunteers do not feed birds. Amazing experience.
