A small park in the suburb of Imphal city in honour of Bir Tikendrakit, former Manipuri Prince as well as very well known freedom fighter. It is located just on the west of Mapal Kangjeibung (oldest living polo ground in the world) and on the north is BT Road. It is surrounded by famous landmarks of Manipur all around like the Kangla, the IMA Markets, the Manipur State Museum, the BT Flyover, Johnstone Higher Secondary School, etc
Currently closed due to covid restrictions. Well maintained and in the heart of the city.

The park is located just adjoining to the famous Polo ground in the crowded paona bazar ,Imphal. It's a medium size park still undergoing development but open to the public. People from the surrounding areas come here to relax sometime after day's work, it's also a nice meeting place for the people of all ages. Older folks also come here for their evening walk. People suffer from the lack of shelters in the rainy season more pavilions or summerhouses are needed to be constructed.
Famous memorial park with beautiful garden as its known for the site where Prince Bir Tikendraji & Thangal general were hanged by the British during anglo Manipur war of 1891.Nowadays the park is closed due to observance of SOP for covid

FYI, it's a local park and public to everyone. Not every locality have such a place where kids can play and elderly people can rest.. Of course, a little scope of improvement is there but overall it's good. Peaceful surrounding too.
