Beautiful place but don't expect wildlife, tracking is very nominal and drive to the main gate is very narrow

A good place for those who like hiking and want to see nice view. There 13 Tigers in this sanctuary but the possibility of spotting the tiger is 5% only. Best place for the people who like to do bird photography. Must visit in sunny weather only...... Do carry a jacket as it's extremely cold in winter and when it's raining.

Good trek of 2 kms, at 2 or 3 places, it is bit rough, rest is fine. In summers, you won't find many animals. View from zero point is a must watch. Drive from almora to inside binsar of about 10 kms is very difficult as it is a very narrow road and if any vehicle is coming from the other side then its not easy for both to pass together.

It was an adventurous experience for sure. The road is single lane and a bit rough so we had a good off-roading experience. While we were driving, we were interrupted by a wild boar which made us think whether the trek to Zero point is safe or not. The place wasn't crowded even on weekend. There were only two three cars at the entry gate. Nobody was around us when we were trekking to Zero Point. It was scary at first because we were only two of us and right at the start of trek we spotted a fox. There were many instances when we thought of turning back but somehow made it to the Zero Point which welcomed us with a beautiful Himalayan view. The entry gate of Zero Point is around 8-9 km from the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary gate. The trek to Zero Point is 3 km long. You can easily complete the trek in 3 hours. I would totally recommend this place. But yeah do visit with a group of 4-5 people.

Good place if you are a nature lover chances of spotting an animal or bird is negligible. The drive to zero point and the 2km walk to zero point for a view of the great himalayas is breathtaking.

It depends on the weather and time of the day whether you spot any wildlife/birds in the hiking trail, as well as whether you get to view the snow capped ranges from the view point. Unfortunately it was cloudy when we visited so the view point was a bit disappointing. As for the hiking trail, it's quite serene and beautiful to walk through the forests, and we saw a few birds along the way too, though quite far away. It's around 2km of walking (one way) and 4km overall, with rest stops along the way if you need to sit.
