By far the most overhyped restaurant i have ever eaten till date in Connaught Place. First of all have to mention about the cleanliness it was the worst i have seen for a restaurant charging such high prices. Secondly the quantity price ratio is below par. For a bill of 720Rs the quantity was not at all fulfilling & they mandated that service charge be paid since they have mentioned it on their menu card while the service was absolutely one of worst i have experienced. This restaurant can do so much better since the food taste was good, but they need to work on customer satisfaction , cleanliness and quantity price ratio.
The food is good. We can get multiple varieties of Biryani including Hyderabadi, Lucknowi and Kolkata style. Need to improve the environment.
Paneer Hyderabadi Biryani was very tasty. Definitely try it even if you're a non-vegetarian. Lucknowi Chicken Biryani was average in taste. Virgin Mojito was refreshing, but Peach Iced Tea tasted like normal Meetha Nimboo Paani. Prices are decent, not expensive. Had to wait for more than 20 mins to get a seat. The service is good. Overall, a good experience.
The worst biryani I have ever tried in the name of Kolkata Biryani, the aroma, texture, flavour every thing resembles to South Indian as tyle, Kolkata Biryani having potato and egg, the served the potato in such a shape, that is used in Currys, and half egg provided, it is not in comparison to rs, 70 per plate in WB. So worst, I want to make aware to food lovers that this is not the Kolkata Biryani as nd the chicken pieces make me laugh, what was that, three whole chilli is in biryani, in hydrabadi, lakhnow to Kolkata style biryani this kind of whole so pieces are not used, i am so emberessed to have such biryani from a popular outlet i ND. But frankly and truly speaking i shall never visit such worst restaurant delivering such quality foods. Hopeless.
I didn't like the ambience and vibe of the place, but the Biryani was good. Finding a decent Hyderabadi style Biryani in Northern side of India is a struggle that's still on-going for me since past 2-3 years. I tried Veg Hyderabadi Dum Biryani here and it was way better than "Biryani By Kilo".
Biriyani was average. I expected more quantity. There was only a finger sized chicken piece. Also Keep in mind the price since it's Connaught Place. It can go upto 800 INR per person
Serving best biriyani in Connaught place, close to the shivaji metro. Ordered mutton biriyani, mutton chap and butter nun. To my taste biriyani was average and the mutton chap wasnt up to the mark. Butter nun is crispy, drenched with butter.
