Bikanervala - Family restaurant in Zirakpur - S.a.s Nagar, India

Today, on 23rd July 2023. We celebrated our Son Birthday at Bikanerwala Zirakpur. At first, i was not sure about the Reservations and Party arrangements about this Outlet. But, once i met with the Manager of the Bikanerwala (Mr JOGINDER RANA). He assured us about A1 arrangements and full cooperation from the Staff. Decoration arrangements done by Mr Rana was beautiful. Food was delicious, Staff was Polite, Atmosphere was fantastic, Cleaning and Hygiene was perfect. Quality, Quantity and Price of the food was genuine. Most importantly kids enjoyed a lot, as area is Safe and friendly. Once again in the End, a lots of thanks to outlet Manager JOGINDER RANA for such support and being so nice to kids.

Visited Bikanerwala, Zirkpur in Sravana Month specially for GHEVAR They provide you different sweets, packaged snacks like namkeen, rasgullas etc. which can be gifted during festivals. BIKANO BRAND packaged tea time snacks like Rusks and Chai Puri are available. Bikanervala Brand PICKLES like Tendi Dela, Masala Lime, Sweet Lime and Mixed Pickles are also available. We ordered Kesar Malai Ghevar, Pickles, Ghujia, Gulab Jamun and Aam Papad. The Tendi Dela and Mixed Pickles are good. Ghevar and Ghujia are total DISAPPOINTMENTS. Large Hall with Reserved and Non-Reserved tables is available but CENTRALISED AC WAS NOT WORKING even in June Month of Summer. Bikanervala infrastructure was spacious, clean and well managed. Hygiene wise, all items are covered. BUT vibe is missing which you easily find in Haldiram's Food Court, Dera Bassi. Staff and Servers are polite and prompt in their service. Overall Below Average Experience, GOOD QUALITY GHEVAR IS NOT AVAILABLE IN NORTH HARYANA. I THINK, NORTH HARYANVI, CHANDIGARH WALA AND PUNJABI DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IS GHEVAR. Please inspect the food when served. Horrible experience of getting hair in food and when told to a serving person he simply took the plate and eloped. Since we were also in hurry, we left the food there and moved out. Over a period the quality of food and service has detoriated very fast. Selling just by the brand name. Be aware when you visit this store.

Went there on Sunday with my friend and had a bad experience. This was the first time I visited there. Order a Raj kachori on their recommendation. There were hardly any customers in there. We waited for 20min and our order was not served, while on the other hand, the rest of the orders were being served to other customers. So after 20min when we asked about the order, they were clueless about our order and didn't even have started preparing the order. Our order came and we tasted it but were quite disappointed with Raj kachori. It was like it should have been. I will rate it around 2.5.

Since my college days, I was really obsessed with the logo and the name of Bikanervala, Because of their Savory snacks. But for food I tried for the first time and i will never go back there again. First of all the prices are very high according to the taste. Even the portion size is small. 180 rupee for a plate of dosa like that is too much, there are shops sector 22 chandigarh sells dosa in 80 rupees 1000 times better then what they are serving. Their dosa is of triangular in shape. corners are very crispy but not in a good way. From inside it stuffed with mashed potatoes and some spices. Served with Sambhar, Coconut chutney and Tomato chutney. *Both of the chutneys are awful. *Sambhar is just okay. I also tried modak just because the price is of 900 per kg and it is just the simple burfi in shape of modak. They are just fooling the customers trying to sell the brand name in higher price. "Experienced extremely slow service most of the tables are empty but they still took around 35 mins to serve us 3 plates of dosa. *They don't have manners to serve we were 3 sitting on a table they bring 2 dosa's first and took another 5+ mins for the 3rd dosa, I was really disappointed with this behaviour the friends of mine waiting for the third plate so we can start together. they just killed our appetite. "TIP: DONT BUY ANY SWEET WITHOUT TASTING A SAMPLE" DONT GO THERE IF YOU ARE IN A HURRY.

Prices are too high. Quality is just average or fine. Takes lot of time for preparations. We had to wait 25 mins for just chole bhature while the restaurant was almost vacant on sunday afternoon. Sweets cost too much and are just normal in taste. Seats are also not as comfortable as they ought to be. If you go, just remember you are buying ordinary food while paying thrice for normal taste.

Today , I visited with my family at bikanerwala zirakpur on 24.10.23. Food quality is very low. Even chairs are broken. Flies are moving here and there, everywhere. Service is also like 1 out of 10. Food is served after a delay of more than 30 min after payment. It is highly unlikely that this eating joint has any possibility to improve quality and service, looking at the reviews given by People and assurances given hy Store

I ordered a deluxe Navratri thali, which cost me around 362 INR, but two items were missing from the thali. When I complained, they made excuses such as "we forgot to add it" or "it's not in season," etc. In the end, they compensated me with a piece of sweet, which was not worth what I had paid for. I was very disappointed with their food quality. It is better to visit Gopal's for better quality food.
