This very ancient Bihari Nath temple is located approximately 10 km from the market in Shaltora block of Bankura district. The environment around the temple is very calm, mellow and pleasant. A large number of devotees visit this temple almost every day. Biharinath Eco Tourism Park is one km away from the temple which is a very enjoyable place for kids.
Nice ambience. After entering into the temple ypu will feel positive vibes. The place is super clean. Generally crowded by the local people on Mondays for worshipping Lord Shiva. It's surrounded by hills and always you can see lush green vegetation. In front of the temple there is a pond where you can take bath if you want to do.
A lonely Temple of lord Shiva at the bottom edge of Biharinath mountain. Very much positive vibes here. The surrounding nearby pleases and Calm the mind and Soul.
So clean temple. But inside the temple is very suffocating. Unable to see the Shiv linga due to the heap of flower n belpata which is needed to clear time to time.

Very old temple of lord Shiva situated at the base of Biharinath hill at Bankura district. The area is very calm and full of greenery. It is a perfect place for weekend tours. You can stay here at the government guesthouses very close to the temple. You have to come here with your own vehicle because no public transport is available in this area. Winter is the perfect time to come here
