Worth visiting the museum, the sculptures are life sized, it tells the story of Goa's culture and tradition. Kids enjoyed a lot. It is a picturesque spot no doubt. Make sure you wear some monochromatic dress because background so vibrant and colourful, for you to stand out in the picture wear plain colour. It is set up outdoor on the slope of the hill, little bit of climbing and slopes are there for senior citizen above 70 plus will be a challenge.
If you want to kill some time during your trip this is a good place to visit. The place is very immersive and has shops to buy beautiful handcrafted items and deserts. Perfect for school trips and group trips as you are introduced to every detail and its story so you can learn the past of goa.
This was called "Ancestral Goa" on our itinerary. The Big Foot Museum is a recreation of a Goan Portughese village. A good glimpse of the past. Just wished that the place was larger and had some real people and real goods. During my visit the shops inside the "village" were all closed.
Awesome depection of the life of Goa in pre Independence era. The audio guided tour was done really. The place houses The big foot temple which was interesting to know about. The museum also has the largest statue of saint Mira Bai.
It gives a really good idea about the Goan culture and the way people lived in old times. The details are communicated either in English or Hindi or Konkani. Ticket costs 100 rupees per person and 20 per camera or if one wants to take a photo or video even on phone. Not many pay for that though. Parking isn't an issue.
Very beautiful theme park. Loved it. The way they have arranged the pathway thinking of aged visitors shows how thoughtful they are. All the announcements are very informative. The big foot film idea is very good. All the written information is good. Due to the paucity of time, I could not write a review of the place in the book provided by them. But very impressed.
Excellent place to spend about an hour especially with kids. It has an audio visual walking tour of the history of Goan culture and heritage. The statues depicting rural life are maintained well. Adult tickets are Rs.150/head. Unique rock sculpture of Mirabai, which is the longest laterite rock sculpture is part of the museum.
If one is really interested to know about goan culture then this is a go to place. Best place where you could get to know in detail about goan culture. Apart from sculptures, they have nice audio in multiple languages, which keeps running periodically so that you can enjoy the place along with commentary. Loved the place. Should be on the bucket list for all the tourists. I would definitely love to come back here and go through the experience again.
I extend my warmest gratitude to Maria de Fatima Figueiredo de Albuquerque for the extraordinary experience at the Figueiredo Mansion in Goa. Your guided tour was a true privilege and honor, revealing not just the beauty of the architecture and antiq
This is a must see house if you are visiting Goa for the first time. Orignally owned by an advocate, the house tells a nice story of how Goa was during the Portuguese time. The place showcases old tools and paraphernalia that gives a first hand look
Dear Carmen...thank you sooo much for the wonderful stay at Ishkaa. We enjoyed every minute of the time we spent there, with the children wanting to rush back from wherever we were just so that they could chill in the house. We loved everything about
It's quite refreshing to see a restaurant like this in Loutolim. The place is done up really well and it gives you a very European summer feel. The white decor and walls add panache to the place. The food is really good here. We tried their Chinese c

This place serves authentic Goan food. We had pork sorpotel and steak bread and both were amazing. The price is very affordable. I will surely recommend this place for Goan delicacies. And as the name suggests you do get a lake view which is beautifu
Ambora spring is located in a very quiet and unremarkable area. It looks just like any other rural setting with a narrow road, swaying palms and thick vegetation. This is heritage place of one of the village of goa. It has fresh water spring which c

The place is enough for a gathering of 100-150 people. They have a clean and big swiming pool and a open hall. They can arrange drinks, snacks and food for you if needed. A perfect place for family and friends! At the moment, per person charges are 2
