A wonderful replica architecture near lake town. Nice to see at night. In the both side it seems like you are in London. Nicely maintained by west bengal city corporation and most important thing is subways in both side which are properly used by the local residents. Traffic is bit high here.

Nothing but a replica of London's iconic clock tower, it looks nice with the lights in darkness.

There's a market a short walking distance from the Big Ben, past the Pizza Hut, and near a fountain. The market has alcohol. If you're a tourist I recommend a visit to the Big Ben then grab som snacks and alcohol at the little market to take to your hotel. Also I didn't go to the patch of grass by the train station and a really should have. There's a small bridge that's lit up at night. Would have been a good pic. This was fun though

This replica of the London Big Ben is located on the Lake Town VIP Road crossing. This has become a landmark as well as a tourist attraction. Beautifies a very buzy intersection of the city.

It's one of the remakes of the famous BigBen of City of London, UK. An attempt of pollitical circle to make Good O' Calcutta London. It's become quite famous, and so much so a kind of a landmark, even so much to say as a tourist destination for all to see. It's en route to the Dumdum Airport, if traveling via EM Bypass, it's a very busy area with a lot of commuters traveling. These pictures were taken during a ride of the city during the Durga Puja utsav 2021, the star attraction of the city was the remake of the Burj Khalifa, (google it, Burj Khalifa Mandap at Kolkata, 2021). It's a valiant effort by the government to improve this locality, I just wish it wasn't so overwhelming traffic logged.

Beautiful Big Ben. I have never seen this in my own country but now I have in Kolkata. Small seating garden area next to it to sit and admire the view and soak in surrounding atmosphere. Good pictures can also be taken from the over-bridge.
