It is maintained by the University. The surrounding roads are very much busy as it is the approach road towards Burdwan Medical College and Hospital. The Aurobinda Hostel of Burdwan University is situated nearby.
This place is the Junction point of rajbati, golapbag, and tarabag campus. This place is amazing and covered with a green canopy of trees. But this place has a poor light during the night. There are some foodstall also. Students can sit here, gossip here. For its darkness, girls feel unsafe to sit here.
Bidhan roy statue at the junction of golapbag, tarabag and krishnasayar is a famous landmark of burdwan. Good place to take rest for a while, taking some snaps with friends, family members... But not well maintained.
