Hello there.. this is lakshmish from Bangalore and bidara is one of our first priority if we go to kumta or gokarna. I have been booked da home stay for about 4-5 times from da past 7 years. We just love this place, shastri sir is so trust worthy and he makes sure everything is going great at the home stay. Actually it's like a second home for me and my friends from the past 5 yrs. The place is soo quiet. The food is excellent. And we love da tambuli drink which is served. The staff r so polite. And yes it's in a remote area and we do like it. Da nature is just awesome. And da campfire @ bidara has soo many memories that we can't forget. Overall I would like to call it as my second home. Thank you so much for creating beautiful memories. U guys r just like family. A five star rating is less.

Pros - * Located in between naturely hills and ride to the place is amazing. Cons - * Rooms, bathrooms etc looked built old. * Food and catering could be improved .

Our stay was very comfortable and pleasant. The food was delicious. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. It had all the amenities and caters to all age groups.The swimming pool is the highlight. Also, the homestay is nearby to so many tourist locations. Overall this place is definitely worth staying in, be it with your family or friends.

If you are looking for a calm place out of city , this is the right place. The caretaker Mahesh is very good and provides good service.

The best place to enjoy home stay. We were group of ten and stayed for 4 days here. Very friendly owners and staff. Well maintained pool, had the rare rest Uttarakannada traditional veg food. Very tasty cuisines everyday. Must stay place to enjoy with family.

One of the best home stays in Honnavar. They have multiple accomodation options, and the only stay with swimming pool surrounding honnavar. Excellent service, the taste of food was exceptional. Home stay manager Radha and naveen took good care of us, they were available throughout the day. I'd highly recommend this place for someone who is planning for a group trip to honnavar. Their prices are so reasonable which is inclusive of all meals. Best homestay!!

We had been to this Resort with 8 team members....we people had more expectations as per google review however, we did not meet...! Location is accurately given in maps...Resort overall ambience, food, activities were very minimal. Food options are very less and no activities except swimming pool and outdoor games(not available for all team at a time). The room alloted to us had 4 beds and didn't have an air conditioner. As this was on a April, the place was too hot and we couldn't bear the heat in the room as it didn't even have proper Fan. Overall we had a ok ok sought of experience in this resort....and we would not really suggest for other travellers. Hoping the resort people would do better in upcoming days!
