Bibhutibhusan Memorial Park - Memorial park in Gopalnagar - 24 Paraganas North, India

This park is made at the birth place of renowned bengali writer Bibhutibhusan Bandhopadhay. It is on the river bank of Ichamati. There is a hanging bride made of iron. But the passage of the bridge is very narrow. Only bikes, bicycles and pedestrians are capable of crossing the bridge. Parking places are available. There are two shops in front of the park. The park was closed at 11 am. I think the park is closed temporarily. No entry fees are required to enter the park. The road is good enough to go to the park from Bangaon.

Maintained by PWD, this place is built in the memory of Bibhuti Bhusan Bandyopadhyay, famous Bengali writer and novelist. This place was very nice during my childhood. Different types of flowers used to bloom all over the year, specially in winter. Though I am very disappointed to see carelessness toward this place. No flower plant was present there. And the Ichchamoti river has lost its flow there and all over the Bongaon. It is very painful and pathetic to see our beloved Ichchamoti is dying.

Memorial Park in honour of Veteran bengali litterateur and Story writer, author Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay. He lives and grew here .Peoples come here and visit here frequently. I visited this place several times.

A serene calm and quiet place to visit. A perfect escapade from the hustle and bustle of the city life. There is a good picnic spot nearby and the renowned poet Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay's house is nearby.

Nice place for outdoor recreation. It's also have a historical impact . Nearby locations is just amazing. This place has a mind soothing natural beauty.

Bibhuti Bhushan park is in the Ichhamoti river bank located at barackpore, Gopalnagar North 24 parganas connected with bongaon chakdha kulpi road via Talikhola more 2km. Nice green view around this park and most famous nostalgic hanging bridge gives nice view of ichhamoti.

I was able to give a maximum of five stars because there are five stars here. Otherwise five stars would fall short for such a beautiful place.One of my favorite poets is Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay. The park is named after him.Extraordinarily beautifully decorated park. The beauty of Ichhamati river on the side has fascinated.Perfect for picnics with family and friends.
