This has one of the best view points. It's around 100 KMs from Hyderabad. Good trail for trekking for beginners. It has steps half way through and one point you have to walk on the hill and there is support while walking. My suggestion is to start early and carry lots of water and snacks/energy bars. As well as carry a umbrella as it's too hot once the sun reaches the top. After reaching the top you'll see a beautiful view of the city and lakes. Take your time seeing everything and try zip line and rappelling on the top of the hill.
A fantastic experience awaits those who enjoy trekking at this destination. The view from the top is truly remarkable and worth the effort. However, the management should focus on better maintenance of the toilets and dustbins.

This is an awesome place for a one day trek. It opens at 10 am and closes at 5 pm. It can be reached by car, bike, bus or train from Hyderabad. There are 120 steps and it takes 1 and half hour to climb up and 40 mins to climb down. . Enroute there are few small structures and a lotus pond. . The fort is built on a huge rock and is a wonder to view. There are steps till the top which are introduced later by ASI. . There is no water, food or washroom facility on the top but there are clean toilets, water and food at the ticket counter. . You need to buy a ticket of Rs10 to enter the gate at the bottom. . A great view and dilapidated condition structure on the top but it is worth the visit. I had a great day
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FORT & FORT PHOTOS IS A LOT... So once visit it Such a huge single stone mountain I have ever seen.From the top all trains passing through bhongir station are looking like metal snakes. It's suggested to take sufficient amount of water while hiking.after hiking whole fort if u felt thirsty it's not that easy to come down for drinking water and climb again. Fact I got from Local people is...the whole mountain we climbed is a single biggg stone... There are no words to describe that much huge single stone it is.
This is a perfect getaway place from Hyderabad. There are steps to reach the top. One can experience breathtaking views in between. There are other activities like rock climbing, rappelling etc. Plan to visit in the evenings. Please carry one water bottle and juice to prevent dehydration. One will take beautiful memories from here.
Good historical and trecking site, very big hill to climb. Takes around an hour to embark..can witness beautiful scenery from the top of the hill..entry closes at 4 PM..only 5 rupees entry for kids and 10 for elders..car parking available...better only young and youth visit this place as it takes a lot of physical effort to climb the hill...some parts of the path is filled with full of grass and weed, request maintanence authorities to take care..better to visit this place with group of friends or families on the security aspect.
