Bhumkar Hospital - Otolaryngology clinic in Thane - Thane, India

Visited the doctor it was quick the doctor said I just have little nose dryness that's it - then prescribed me anxiety medication??( which I found out from google and wasn't even informed by the doc) Called to ask why the anxiety medication and how will it help my "nose dryness" instead of making me understand why the person who talked on the call said I am not allowed to raise a doubt about the prescription because the doctor has experience of 30 something years and also because I am youngster who looked up the medication! You should mention if you give some medication and my age doesn't matter when I ask doubts about my own medication! and forget about respectfully talking

I visited the hospital the doctor was not available for 3 days and his assistant was attending the patients and he gave me the medicines that didnt work at all.. worst experience

They aren't reachable on call..never.. either they can't hear you or line busy or they won't receive I took an appointment 2 days prior still i have to wait here for an hour. What's the use of an appointment if you keep patients on wait for an hour.. You should manage the schedule properly. This is my 2nd visit... Let's hope that i get good treatment here

We went for our son's ear correction surgery. The surgery done was so perfect, thanks to the doctors. Also after surgery, the kind of attention and care given by doctors and staff is commendable. Very efficient and cooperative team at the clinic. we are very satisfied and glad that we meet the doctor and his team for my son.

Hi, My name is Rutaja Kulkarni and my experience at Dr.Bhumkar's clinic has been amazing! Having ear surgery done does seem stressful, but with Dr.Bhumkar's practicing experience and staff, this was not the case! Living in America my whole life, I was a little worried about adjusting to ear surgery in India and working with new doctors. But, all of my doubts were gone with my experience at Dr.Bhumkar's clinic. Dr.Bhumkar's very skilled and experienced! I was well informed about the process and procedures! I knew exactly how the surgery was going to go and I was ensured about the process that was going to happen afterward. My 2-day hospital experience was great! The nurses and staff helped me a lot and made sure all of my requests were fulfilled! After my surgery, I went to dressing appointments and each one was a success! Dr.Bhumkar and the other doctors made sure that everything was running smoothly and I was informed about different things I can do to make sure my recovery is successful. I never thought I would get the opportunity to have a normal-looking ear, it always seemed just a dream. But with Dr.Bhumkar's help, this dream of mine came true! With my new ear, I have gained so much more confidence! I appreciate everyone for making my surgery and recovery a relaxing, stress-free experience. Dr.Bhumkar is not just a doctor, he's an artist!

I visited Dr. Bhumkar for problem of blockage feeling in my left ear. His diagnosis was so accurate and his approach was so nice which makes the patient comfortable and builds trust. Which is must for any doctor.

Do not consult them for even a primary diagnosis of thyroid related issues, although they aren't thyroid specialists, we went to him for an initial diagnosis because my mother found a lump in her throat, and he is apparently the best ENT doctor around, they asked us to do a FNAC (throat biopsy) and upon its results, I called to discuss further course of action and they said nothing is to be done and that her reports are fine on the phone, didn't ask us to come in and discuss this in detail. The next day I started to have minor throat pain and went to them for this, turns out it was tonsillitis, and because I was there I incidentally showed my mothers FNAC reports, this time around they asked us to go to an endocrinologist Dr.Virendra Patil. How did this opinion change so drastically from not doing anything to going to specialist just because the patients reports are in front of you? Makes one wonder if the reports were even checked while giving the opinion on the phone? This is a bad level of prognosis and assessment and management on the doctors behalf. Even after this, we got a wrong opinion from the doctor they suggested i.e. Dr. Virendra Patil (go to his google reviews to know what happened to us there). Dr. Bhumkar probably got a commission from recommending us to Dr.Virendra and we didn't get a proper result or prognosis from either of these doctors. For minor ENT related issues Dr.Bhumkar (or rather his assistant) is fine, my tonsils was diagnosed and resolved quickly with the meds he gave. For major things DO NOT GO TO HIM. One thing to note- 1. Dr. Bhumkars will not do your check-up, his assistant will. Quite farcical because all patients come to this clinic to be checked by the "best doctor in thane for ENT" , who is almost always not available for the check-ups. Yes this assistant seems to be trained and under the supervision of Dr. Bhumkar but decide for yourself if that is enough for you.
