Bhuba Dukan - Tiffin center in Puri - Puri, India

This place deserve a place right after Jagannath Temple and Blue fag beach!! I had Puri Dalma and Chenna poda. They make best dalma! Don't except 5 star ambience, this is a place where you will enjoy the food. This place is crowded quite often, but they will serve you well if you show some patience!! I took my family (4 px) for breakfast, total cost was just 190 rupees. It's right next to railway station, very convenient place.

The unnamed breakfast shop is the most popular breakfast joint of Puri for sure. They serve Chai, Puri, Sabji and two types of sweets Chenapoda and Tadia in the morning. And Evening they serve Bara Aloochup singada and matar curry. In a plate you get 6 puri and sabji and Chenapoda for 55 rupees. Sweet is optional. But their sweets are also good. You must try at this place if you are visiting puri. Parking is little bit cosy come here in two wheeler as it is on a narrow street so parking four wheeler is a problem. Highly Recommend

Delicious, puri dal, chenna malpuas, sizzling hot tea, so unbelievably cheap! A bit of conversation, a bit of banter, truly an amazing place to sample the local flavours in more ways then one

I recently visited this place. This place is pretty small and does not have any signboard mentioning "Bhuban Dukan" in it. This place is more familiar as "Bhuba Dukan" among locals. One can ask the local cab/ auto driver to take them to this place while he/ she is in Puri. This place is very close to Puri railway station. Despite being a small shop, this place is very busy and their staple items Puri, dalma and chena poda gets sold like hot cake.

Finally I got a chance to visit this famous shop and have my breakfast here. I came to know about this shop from a food show which goes by the name of "Highway on my plate". As described by the hosts of the show, this place really offers some delicious breakfast. Only Puri and Dalma are available and in the sweets section, you can have "Chenna Poda and Tadia". The combination of Puri Dalma is very famous in Odisha and we Odiya people really love this in our breakfast. Here they served small Puris, Dalma and a piece of Chenna Poda on a leaf (which is a traditional way of serving food in Odisha). The taste of those hot small puri and dalma was just heavenly. I also tried Tadia sweet. And at last I ended my breakfast with a cup of tea.

This place is just awesome,it will give you a perfect old and desi vibe with food cooked on mitti ka chulha...the food is fresh and it tastes awesome at a very reasonable price. There is no shop name mentioned outside the shop but it is so famous whomsoever you ask will take you there easily. It is just opposite to Puri railway station entrance.

It was a good experience visiting here, every thing is freshly prepared and serverd. I ate over there and also got myself a parcel to enjoy at the hotel were I was staying. Tea was also good(hot and strong) It would had been super awesome to have these in cold season. Chenapoda is also worth to try.
