Very rude owner shows no professionalism and respect to its guest. Places for only drunk middle age men If you're going with your family, please look for any other resorts it is only worth for "launde lapades" On a good side the interior of rooms are good rest all bad. Owner/ Management- 0.5/5 Food- 2/5 Vibe- 2/5 Rooms- 3.5/5
Bhoramdeo Jungle Retreat is a treat for all those wanting to escape the concrete jungle for some calm, peace and tranquility. Nice, cozy rooms with an add on room for kids or extra friends and an attached bathroom, dotted with pictures of the local sights and local tribes. Lunch is served in the middle of a nearby stream. The Bhoramdeo temple complex is within walking distance, and the Bhoramdeo Wildlife Sanctuary is a short drive away. If you are lucky, you can see Sunny and Deepti entertain you with their witty shaairi and jugalbandi, that accompanies the musical night. Hope to return for a longer stay.
People have given lots of reviews . Let me just tell you why the was so satisfying for me like visiting my naani's place, sans my relatives, of course ... It has courtyards, not gardens... gardens are pretty, courtyards are comfy (& pragmatic) It has the "domestic" trees, like Kaamini, Chaandni, guava, jackfruit, custard-apple... it has low balconies in front of rooms, terracotta tiled roof of balconies, the rafters are showing, a yellow light, the floors are large tiles of granite, the washroom is large & minimalist & has a bucket (alongside modern amenities) & gets AMPLE natural light through the sheet roofing ... Lazy afternoon, silence & butterflies, a space to lie down to a siesta amid the periwinkle... The only thing missing was an old cupboard full of Feluda & Rohosyo-romaancho... It has all the modern amenities, & also a bunch of activities... & we did those too... but this was what I enjoyed most... you know, if you actually go back to your childhood places, the modifications & changes you see there, or the dilapidation is heartbreaking... this, on the other hand, is a place very much IN TODAY, but with the look & feel & smell & sound of childhood, so...
At the very sight, the resort was a delightful surprise with its rustic and colourful design. First things first: Perfect location with perfect accessibility. Close to both the main temple and the ghats. The staff is friendly yet professional, helpful and considerate. The rooms are spacious, cozy and stocked meticulously with required amenities and decor. The food is homely, with unbeatable quality and quantity...keeping in heart ones choices and likes. The evening with gazals was one of its kind and soothing to the soul, blending effortlessly with the whole surrounding. The heart of the resort lies in its owners, who personally manage the place. They make you feel like a family, keeping a well managed staff and extremely happy environment. It's a pet friendly, pet accepting and pet loving place...which I am so thankful for. My little one had a great time loitering around the compound. Overall, an amazing experience!! Thank you team BJR !!
Beautiful. The design, the food, the staff, the owners' interest in the area and its culture are all as they should be for an eco resort. Beautiful music concerts in the evening (it was a privilege to participate) and the unique picnic lunches (no spoilers) top it off. And Bhoramdeo temple, other smaller shrines, and village life are an easy walk away. Please note. I hope all guests appreciate the care and skill with which the meals are prepared. If you can't make an order as if there was a menu, at least don't be rude.
