I have visited 21st Nov 23. Great Restaurant. The food quality is really good, and the test is also very nice. Ambiance is awesome. All the staff are polite and have good behaviour. You can also spend a very good time with your family and friends at this restaurant... Must try bhakti fry....

Okay so, firstly let me enlist the things I loved: Ambiance was good. Actually very nostalgic. Brings back childhood memories of our favourite Satyajit Ray film Gupi Gayen Bagha Bayen. Perfect family restaurant. Items like Bhooter Pora Kosha Khashir Mangsho, Basanti Polao, Aam Doi, Chitol Maacher Peti are MUST TRY DELICACIES. Staffs were dressed like Hirak Rajar Deshe mantri (ministers). And they even asked to clap hands with each other just like the movie, before serving us food. Very fun ahaha They were also polite and service was good even though there was a bit of waiting time. Now let me share some comments, that I think they can improve: Because the restaurant lacks good ventilation, it kind of smells bad and felt suffocating. Even though we were their first customer and we did not even need to reserve out seat. Still it did not feel good. Some of their food items were not at per e.g. Aam er chutney was wayyy too sugary and bhetki paturi did not taste good at all especially the mustard paste. Basmati rice was overcooked. Mutton pieces quality was not good. Too rough and small that contains mostly mutton fat. Tables were not properly cleaned. Too oily. Banana leaf was not properly cleaned before serving. Had to clean it with tissue paper to remove the dirt. Lots of mosquitoes This needs urgent attention honestly. Portion can be improved a bit. Especially meat ones.

Heard a lot of positive things about this restaurant. But unfortunately experienced the opposite. The quality of food was too poor as compared to their reputation. Too much expensive if compared to their peers. We went there during their 'Ilish Utsav'. The teast of ilish was not good. The staff were in a hurry to complete our meal, maybe because we were the last guests for that day. Still...

Food here is excellent. Service is very prompt for how busy it is usually. Food is always served warm and full of flavour. What we ordered Bhetki fish fry 5/5 Gobindo bhog norom pulao 4/5 Raj bari kosha mangsho 5/5 Chithol mach muithya 100/5 My family loves it and the ambiance is so nostalgic.

A very good ambience, true to the naming. Food thali served is enough for 2 people. The enormousity of the thali presented in terms of spread was very good

All are very good Specially the Dish "Rajbarir Kosha Mutton" Was awesome delicious I really loved it and till not forget the taste will visit again soon... Atmosphere is also very nice...
