This resturant is situated at Ambikapatty, Silchar. The ambience was great but the service seems slow and lazy. Food is not upto the mark and quantity is not as per the cost. The menu was not clear it says Fish Bhaji but what they provide was Fish Cutlet. Meet and pulao was average. One time visit can be recommended but I will prefer RannaGhar over this because of quantity and price comparison

Nice restaurant. Ambiance is very good. Food is also very tasty. Price could be little economical. You all can go with your friends and family and enjoy the food and atmosphere.

we have ordered Elisha fish thali , size of fish pis is so small , And also not tasty. Ac is also not working. very bad experience in this hotel. any one who sees my review don't go there, waste of money.

Service is very slow..very poor experience ilish vapa that was bitter nd basanti polaw is sticky or Mutton served only fatty pices... Daal uncooked. i suggest you gues please don't visit this place it is totally money waste

Sharing this experience after I lost all patience today. Went for lunch after Ashtami Anjali and obviously was starving. We could see none of the tables had food served so we could guess that service will be slow. We asked how long it might take if we order and only after we were promised a wait time of 15 to 20 minutes, we placed our simple order of fish finger, daal, plain rice, ilish vapa and aaloo jhuri bhaja. I'm not an expert cook but I bet I can cook all these under 30 minutes. But the timing was so odd we couldn't leave the place and go to another restaurant because our little 2 years old was hungry already and so kept waiting. It finally took 1 hour and 10 minutes to serve us. I've genuinely rated the food and ambience but the service, management and coordination was pathetic. Also, I almost laughed looking at the size of the hilsa they served for which they charged almost 400. I've had hilsa in many other restaurants including the best ones at Kolkata and I've paid 700 to 800 for a piece as well. But the one that I got served today was hilarious indeed. When enquired about the same to the owner, he exclaimed that even these tiny pieces are being in huge demand by the customers! Okay, we understand but fix your prices in that case! The daal and aaloo jhuri bhaja were great. The fish finger seemed a bit stale and out of 5 pieces that were served, a few had negligible portion of fish and greater portion of batter in them. I could also see almost every table had something or the other to complain about. I don't think I'm going back there again. Let me also not miss out on writing that I asked for a spoon to feed my kid and they brought me a copper spoon which was fine but the spoon was twisted at the head which made it difficult for me to use it.

recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say, their chicken kosha was an absolute delight! The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the chicken was tender and succulent. It's evident that the chef put a lot of care into preparing this dish. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff added to the overall experience. I highly recommend trying their hilsa fish- it's a must-try for any food enthusiast!

a very bad experience , food quality and service was very pathetic, specially aloo posto was raw aloo and chicken jhol was also raw chicken ,my suggestion do not go there.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant, and I strongly advise against bringing children here. The waitress displayed shockingly inappropriate behavior towards my 2-year-old daughter. She was rude, dismissive, and even made derogatory comments about my child. It was an appalling and distressing situation that no parent should have to endure. The complete lack of professionalism and basic human decency from the staff has left me deeply disgusted. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place, especially if you have kids.
