Super spicy Kolhapuri Misal in Bombay. We tried the 'zhanzanit' (the rough English translation for this Marathi word is spicy) misal here and it was so good! It's the good kind of spicy as they use a nice green 'thecha' (this is essentially a paste with a green chili base). We'd give this place an overall rating of 9/10. Misal starts from 50Rs only! The taste is so delicious and you can pair spicy misal with their refreshing Masala chaas, kokam sharbat, aam panha or lassi. They prepare everything freshly so you can add and reduce spice accordingly. They serve different varieties of misal, pav bhaji and pizzas too! Jain food is also available. The staff is very friendly & helpful. I'll recommend you to try their bhaji misal with kokam sharbat. This place is outside the Borivali Railway station.
Misal Pav used to be my favourite lunch meal during my office days. The taste is really good. They serve it very nicely and warmly. Even though you're ordering it at home/office they will serve you in the same manner. The staff is really good and loving! The quality and quantity both are really good and satisfying. Must try.
