It was vey beautiful destination for picknic and tourism there was a caves are beautiful awesome. Bhokardan Buddhist Tukai Caves in Tukai Mandir Road,Jalna listed under Tourist Attraction in Jalna. Bhokardan is a metropolis in the Indian state of Maharashtra and is one the oldest and historical cities in India.
The place is good. If u searching for environment and silence place.. And it is very near to bhokardan if u are late no problem. This place is any time open.. Good place really osam. I loved it.......
As per history(6 th std history book) ,bhokrdn (Bhokardan) was a trade centre in Satvahana dynesty whose capital was paithan. There was many caves which were sculptured including Ajanta,ellora Karle,Bhaje,Bedse,Lenyadri, Bhimashankar,Amba-Ambika, Bhutlinga,Tulja caves ,Shivneri caves and Bhokardan was one of them.And all are Buddhist caves.. But Unfirtunate Local people forgot there real buddhist history and accept superstitious story like culture.
Just a lovely place in Beautiful Bhokardan city . Near Rameshwar Temple is also a Beautiful Devotional place .
I was there a decade ago. Want to go there again. Less studied and less known ancient Hindu cave temples.
Soo peaceful and calming.....must visit place.
Its Caves beautiful but now that place is careless by our Government
