The food was good but most dishes from the menu were not available by the time we reached the restaurant. The quality is okeii, quantity to be improvised.

I'm writing this review just after having lunch in this outlet, first of all they're harming the image of "bhojohori manna", there were many items missing in the thali, the quality of food is better in the streetside hotels from here, and the quantity is for a 10years old child, and the main thing is that the thoor ghonto was smelling like stale,we asked them, after they replied saying it's not stale, the misti doi was also smelling, The staffs are nonprofessional, Just avoid this specific outlet and please take proper action against this one,

Dined all 3 days during my stay at the Taj for 2 reasons. Affordable comfort bengali food that I crave for as a bong based out of another city away from Kolkata and to avoid travelling to other places to eat through the horrible pre-pujo traffic jam. The service is fast. However, the hilsa is over priced and the pieces were pretty small for 425 bucks. Rest of the dishes were good. The waiter would suddenly start wishing you only after you tip them.
A Bengali cuisine 52 seating restaurant situated at first floor (above bakery 'cakes'). No separate parking & no wheelchair accessiblity. One has to use stairs. Restrooms available. Small TV screen for sports lovers. We visited for dinner. Though begun bhaja, baha moong dal were not available despite being on menu. We ordered Mochar chop, luchi, alu bhaja n cholar dal. Food was savoury n taste was enhanced by old Bollywood songs. Staff was courteous n services were also quick. Price were reasonable. It was good experience.
Went there at 8.00p.m on the day of durga puja ashtmi, the entire restaurant was empty, however staff informed us that the tables were not ready and we needed to wait in the ground stairs till a table was ready to offer. We asked for a menu and they provided me a thali menu, when I asked for the Ala-carte menu they denied stating that they don't have one.
