A small branch of the famous restaurant chain. Loved that plates are topped with real banana leaf to give the proper Bengali feel. We tried Mutton Dak Bunglow, Juri Alu Bhaja, Mocha Ghonto with Rice as our main course and Nalen Gurer ice-cream as desert. Food tasted amazing; specially the ice-cream, it was scrumptious. I felt portion sizes are a bit small. Washroom was clean compared to other public areas.

Very bad experience got during puja.Food was of very poor quality and less in quantity,even street food is better than them..Don't dine at the Ekdaliya branch. Total wastage of money. The prawn and tomato chutney was also stale.

One of the notable places to try out an authentic Bengali thali or Bengali cuisine. Tried their mocha and loved that. Macher matha dea dal was a bit of a disappointment. Bhetkir paturi was fabulous and is highly recommended. The bengali Pulao & Mutton Kosha was very tasty. Khejur ammshottor chatni was very good. The ice cream okay. Felt like the prices are too high.
I visited this place. So the taste of the food is fully bengaliana but the price is too much. I mean too expensive. For two people you must have a budget of Rs1000 It's near ballygunge station. Quite near to people staying in ballygunge. Place is too small. And seating is not appropriate. But taste is good. If you looking for bengali cuisine could try it. But dont expect for good ambiance.
