Bhivpuri dam camping - Campground in Pali T. Waredi - Raigad, India

Nice lonely place near Bhivpuri station.. it is a 20min walk from Bhivpuri station, but depend on which way you are going.. its basically backwarer of dam.. full of greenary and very peaceful place. I think it looks really good in rainy season only,

Beautiful place!! I love it!! Nearest station is bhivpuri road which is on the central side. Please dont take any auto. Also do not follow google maps its not very accurate. Its a 15-20 mins walking distance from station. Ask for directions from the shops just outside the station and the people living there. They will help you alot. Also there's like a 5 mins climb to reach the mountains so wear comfortable clothes and shoes. The sun is very strong from 10 am even in winters so do wear a cap or cover your head. Bring food and water with you. I highly recommend this place its a perfect for beginners looking for an adventure. Not sure about the safety during night or evening time as I visited in the morning. But its pretty safe during day time of course a little consciousness is expected. Do not ask any random person for directions. Ask the shopkeepers.

Absolutely a hidden gem in Maharashtra. Surrounded by the dam water and mountains, this place is everything you're looking for an escape from the city life. The locals are very humble and helpful with the tent setup. Also you can stargaze and catch shooting stars at the end of April. This place is 3 km away from Bhivpuri station, also famous for its waterfalls and rappelling.
