This Ganapathi is very powerful and the Procession of Visarjane ( happens on Anantha Chaturdashi Day ) is secured with the help of military forces.... It starts from Gandhi Bazar, n passes via,, AA Circle, Gopi Circle, Dr. BR Ambedkar Circle (Jail Circle), Nehru Stadium n Then Court Circle.. Atlast will again reach Tunga River. The whole process takes almost 24hrs. It's a treat to watch this procession.

The temple has four sanctums (chatuskuta vimana) with a superstructure (shirakara) surviving only over the main west facing shrine. The building material is soapstone.The temple is protected as a monument of national importance by the Archaeological Survey of India.
