Bhavyam Heritage Guest House - Guest house in Jodhpur - Jodhpur, India

This recently renovated boutique guesthouse is an incredible value for the money. It's really beautiful, and the room felt really special. The rooftop view is one of the best in the city, and it's located just about 5 minutes walk from the fort. It's nice enough that you can bring your mom, unlike a lot of guesthouses in this price range. As others reviews state, it's located at the top of a somewhat steep alley, so it's not accessible by rickshaw or car. The owner kindly sent two of the staff members down to meet us and help with our bags.

I had a great stay at the guest house! The shower had hot water and the linens were very clean. The location was also a huge plus - it was only a 3 minute climb to the fort, which made it easy to visit the sights. Overall, I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting the area.

I will not recommend this guest house to anyone.... staff of the restaurant were not attentive about the requirements... there were no plates and spoons on the table, they were least interested in hospitality rather then they were busy their phones.... food was pathetic And also the lady who was owner of this guest house is soo rude and not bothered in guest's happy stay The view from the rooftop was awesome and rooms were cleaned apart from that there is no other reason for stay... you have to walk for atlaest 1km carrying all of your luggage

Positive: The guest house is perfectly located in the "blue city" not far away from the Mehrangarh Fort. The family, which is running this guest house are very kind and helpful. The room and the batch were clean, what is not that self-evident in India.. Negative: In our opinion the staff taking care for the restaurant could be more engaged. We tried to order a meal 3 times and were successful only once..

Positive: Tidy, sparking clean room and bathroom. Big, very comfy bed. Roof terrace, with great view of the fort and old city. Very good location, within short walking distance to the fort and markets. Very polite and tactful hosts and their staff.. Negative: Room and bathroom had no outside windows, making air in the room humid and heavy. No warderobe or hangers in the room..

Positive: The location was amazing. The rooms were clean.. Negative: We weren't aware of the curfew but maybe we missed this while booking. It didn't affect us too much though. My biggest complaint would be that we used the laundry service, and while the clothes came back clean I was missing a t-shirt and we were charged 700 rupees. Comparatively the most we ever paid before was 150. So I feel a little taken advantage of..

What a hidden gem! So far, it has been the best (cleanliness, well maintained & equipped, hospitality) stay in 3 weeks of India. The value for money is great. The room felt brand new and had a great style. A real heritage with a beautiful rooftop next to the fort. The hospitality of the hosts was tremendous including daily wake-up chai serving in our room. Even though it is central to all main sights and restaurants, it's located in narrow lane which makes it a bit quieter. As said - it's located in a narrow lane meaning the last 50 meters are only accessible by foot which didn't bother me - if that's a problem for you, you should rethink your fort visit which far more strenuous ;)
