Lord ksheera Bhavanarayana(one who understands your feelings, and presents himself thru feelings) presence was felt in Spiny Gourd fruits, much much before the 5th century AD, and the first temple construction happened in 594 AD under Chola patronage(Phalguna pournami) Quickly the Taayaaru(Vaishaka pournami), Narasimha and Keshava idols were consecreted. Whilst the first three are swayambhu, the latter and others idols were sculpted. History has that Lord Narasimha's right eye was wounded while digging out the idol from the earth, so to appease him, Chennakeshava idol (cool form) was consecrated. This temple has great vibe. Every Sunday Pongal is offered as naivedyam. This temple is the originator of the name Bhavapuri which is now Bapatla

So pure and so pious !! Swami ji told that this temple is 1430 yrs old !! OMG !! I had goose bumps !! Ladies were chanting sanskrit shlokas and that too in synchronized way...loved it !! Everyone should visit and feel the aura....so charismatic and so so sooo pure!!

Very peaceful...temple belongs to ancient times. Central deity stands similar to srungara vallabha Swamy in Godavari district. It has Hanuman, kesava Swamy, Lakshmi matha, vaikhasa deva, ranganayaka Swamy, seetharama Swamy without Hanuman, yoga Narasimha, aalvars clock wise around central deity. It is pala bhavanarayana. Everyday puja goeson eventhough Sikharam is under construction. Around temple there is a breezy park with occassional coconut trees.
