Bhatinda water falls - Tourist attraction in Tetengabad - Dhanbad, India

Wanderful place. Just awesome. The Bhatinda Waterfalls has a special charm that cannot be expressed. A must visit for tourists. It's heavenly appeal would make you feel you are at your spiritual home. All of a sudden your mind would become calm and free from all the hustle and bustle of the city life. One can visit the place from Aug to Dec (depending on the amount of rainfall during the rainy season) especially when there is water in the fountain. The best time to visit is during the month of November when the flow of water is sweet enough to get into the water. One can take a shower here during the month of November. It has been an ever lasting experience.

Bhatinda Fall is located just 16 kms away from Dhanbad railway station. The waterfalls make a perfect picnic spot for many. It is nestled amongst the greenery and the rugged hillocks. It provides a captivating sight to the nature lovers. The falls are lined by huge rocky boulders. The cascading waterfalls instill a sense of serenity and a melancholic charm. This place gives the opportunity to experience tranquility and peaceful surroundings.

A good place to spend time with friends. Small 3 tier fall but dangerous. Must visit. Maintenance should be focused

Bhatinda water falls (about 30 kms from Maithon), Jharkhand provides a captivating sight to the nature lovers and is nestled amongst the greenery and the rugged hillocks. There is no entry fee and no camera charges. The falls are lined by huge rocky boulders. The cascading waterfalls instill a sense of serenity and a melancholic charm. This place gives the opportunity to experience tranquility and peaceful surroundings. Parking to the falls is nearly 100 mtr. No steps, only a slope to get down near the water falls easily.

Nice and refreshing place located in Bhatinda, Jharkhand. It's a gorge and we visited during the times of monsoon because of which the water had very rough currents. Also there is no safety measure so going too close towards the gorge can be very dangerous. Also there is a point known as kalapani because of the black colour of the water and its the part of this gorge located just opposite of the gorge.

Bhatinda water fall is a another famous water fall Jharkhand state, situation very near to Dhanbad cuty. Distance from Dhanbad Railway station is 16 km, time 40 minutes by car. Another raw naturaly beautiful waterfall to see. Best time to visit is just after monsoon.

There is a confluence of two rivers near Bathinda Falls. The Katari River originates from Parasnath and flows from north to south reaching Munidih. Damodor River comes from the east. Two rivers meet near the falls.really nice view this point This tha top waterfall in dhanbaad

It is in Munidiah area of Jharkhand which is 14 km away from Dhanbad railway station. The waterfall is at the confluence of two rivers - 1) Katari or Katri river which originates from Parashnath hills and 2) Damodar river. Very close to Bhatinda falls there is a water body named Sat khatia Talaw which literally means , it is so deep that ropes needed to make seven khatia (cot ) will disappear in its water. There are several folk tales about this talaw , and some locals believe this place as haunted. But it is a very beautiful place indeed. Actually this had been a coaliary area , The talaw could be a abandoned crater of mine which , accumulated rain water and has been turned to be a water body. Though best time to visit is during mansoon or post monsoon months ,but be aware of snake during that time. Timing 8.30am to 4.30 pm , gate remains closed on other time, but there is a gap in the boundary wall through which the locals have made their own way , you can also follow that entrance in the odd hours..
