Get prepared to wait if you go anytime between 8-10 AM on a weekday. Go early - preferably by 7-8 AM to get hot and fresh soft (no soda) idlis and vadas. You can easily eat upto 5-6 idlis. The chutney and sambar is delicious. Try the pineapple Shera (Kesari Bath) if available.
Carry your own tiffins and tumblers if you want to avoid parcel charges.
We go here almost every other week everytime I visit Hubli. Once you eat idlis here, you'll never be able to go back! You'll want to come here all the time. Comparatively he charges little more as per quantity. But the charges are worth it for the quality of the food, the cleanliness and mainly the love and passion he has for making these idlis.
Bhat Idli has been around for I think 20-25 years now. Not sure how long exactly but he started selling idlis on a tiny stall near Madhura Colony.
A very good place to have breakfast if you are not looking for anything fancy.

When I went there all that was available was idly and vada. Not even tea is served.

Idli is like uppit arrogant owner sells whatever left to nearby hotels. Google I declined many times to rate it but u kept on asking me it's my honest answer
