Bharathidasan is one of the great Tamil Poet in Tamilnadu. He is a disciple of Great Tamil Poet Bharathiyar. His own name is Subbu Rathinam, later he has changed his name as Bharathidasan to express his gratitude with Bharathiyar.

He's one of the finest and greatest tamil poets during India's freedom fighting time. And to honor his skills, he had been appointed as a Tamilnadu govt. Court poet. And his moral songs about freedom fighting, life, stories and short stories are famous and currently given as literary lessons for school and college students.
