Bharat Sevashram Sangha - Ashram in Puri - Puri, India

A place where I like to stay at puri to get peaceful atmosphere under my gurujii swamy PRANABANAND maharaj.

Like many even I was worried whether I will get a room in the Ashram on the day when I visit Puri. The answer is Yes! But you cannot book a room in advance unless you have got a Bharat Sevashram office in in your city as you need to get a card from them on request. Moreover, you can just visit the place the ask swamiji for a room and I am sure you won't be disappointed. Now regarding the price of the rooms, there is no fixed price for any room as it depends on Swamiji. But this is for sure the price of the rooms are affordable than those hotel rooms which are situated in front of the beach. I went there with 4 other friends which is 5 in total and I requested Swamiji and for a room and I got one which is not in the main building but 10-20 meters inside in street. I stayed in Bharat Sevashram Library building which is close to Bharat Sevashram main building and as I was student I got 2 rooms for 2 days at just Rs1000 which is so much affordable. Just a 30 meter walk from Bharat Sevashram and you will see the beach. I will say stay here as is has got the best price and location and the ambiance is delightful too. Jai Shri Jagannath

Bharat Sevashram Sangha is a social welfare organisation known all over India this building in Swargadwar Puri has a charitable dispensary, a kali temple and above all a guest house for budget travellers in Puri. Well appointed rooms, no frills and very clean. Convenient location is a plus.

The ashram offers accommodation for the tourists, but the written permission taken from the nearest Bharat Sebashram Sangha is to be shown there. There is one more building some steps away. There are many rooms and different rent for different storey. The rooms are very normal. The serve one time meal in exchange of coupon, but the meal is also very normal.

Delightful place with calm and serenity. It is one of the most important charitable organisations of India as well as in the world. In Puri, the Sangha building is also being used as guest house with all kinds of basic amenities.

I'm a fan first, disciple later. Bharat Sevshram Sangha is one of the very few organizations that genuinely strive to (and most definitely does) help people in times of crisis and otherwise. You can be assured that every penny you donate is put to the best possible use by the organization. The newly constructed rooms are extremely beautiful and clean available at a fraction of what hotels with similar rooms will charge.
