It is govt railway hospital for central railway current and retired employees and their dependent family members. Typical of government hospital, it falls short on hygiene, safety, comfort of visitors / patients. However, they do great service to railway employees and their family.

Today morning 6.30 am I reached to byculla railway hospital with my father who is patient of lung cancer 4th stage I see all retired persons who want to meet doctors they come early for registration process 1)9.20 process started as per govt hospital employee also coming with thier normal routine they doesn't care for patients pain. 2)most important doctors are also very careless nobody on time,no proper time management we waited for 4 hours for sign of 2 doctors. 3)after than I went to bed allocation department where very typical people are making entry and said sir nhi he baad me aao no sense of humanity so again it will take 45 minutes for this process 4)after than we went to the building where bed alloted but he said abhi bed nhi means we paid the money but still we didn't get the bed ,whole day was waste due to this railway slowly procedure and thier doctor staff lazyness attitude nature.

Very good tertiary hospital with all facilities for Railway Employees. Hospital is huge with all required departments. Very qualified and experienced doctors available round the clock. Modern Operation theatres and experienced team of Surgeons, Anaesthesiologists and Nursing staff. All the treatment is free for railway employees. Far better than the other government hospitals

Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial Hospital has a beautiful and unique facade. One keeps marvelling at the architecture whenever one passes through Byculla.

Today my attendant went to hospital to collect remaining tablets for my husband, in book it was clearly written SHELCAL 500,but instead he gave him DAIMET-850 , How careless can these people be, suppose if an uneducated person or an old person who knows his tablet by size and color, starts eating and if he don't have daibetes he may go in hypoglycimya.

Respected sir. Dr Komal Chand Vasudev Gajbhiye is the best orthopedic doctor in byculla railway hospital.he is very hardworking and honestman .he is so kind and behaviour is very polite.

My mother is in ICU in critical condition, due to heavy dose of medicine she is suffering from loose motion but the cleaning staff is very arrogant and all the time they said that they are tried of doing this, and make loud noises due to which patients feels very bad.
