Located near Kayamkulam municipal office.SBI BPCL/OCTANE Card holders can avail resumption facility here. we get petrol from 3 filling points. BPCL's SPEED petrol available here. Lubricants are also available here. Air filling point is also available. But nitrogen is not available. There is less area here than other new stations.
Fuel may be good but they fill speed petrol ( 3 Rs more than the ordinary petrol ) without informing you.when you find out that they will play dump like the machine only have speed/ the operator is trainee, etc.Its a regular modus operandi of several pumps since the sale of this premium petrol will increase their profit margin.( I personally faced the same situation in several pumps in Kerala and Tamil Nadu) While I stayed there for filling, I found several motor cyclists ( who usually fill for Rs 50/100) getting cheated this way.They should have displayed a proper board informing the unavailability of ordinary petrol or should train their new pump operator properly. If they are intentionally doing this, it's a highly unethical practice . Update 01/08/19: Had a chat with pump manager and as per him ,the said machine is having trouble to dispense normal petrol and they missed to put up a board to notify the customers.
Employees treat costamers very badly. They are showing lies in filling petrol. When questioned, he cursed that the vehicle might be in an accident. That is the condition of the Nelson petrol pump.
