Our stay at "Bhalobasa Anandabas" had been a serendipitous experience. We reached there by accident and ended up staying there for 4 days. It is technically a Senior Citizen Residence but it does offer a few rooms for tourists. Its location is a huge advantage if you are trying to escape from the city noise and enjoy the tranquility of nature with modern amenities and home-cooked food. It is reasonably priced and run by friendly staff and management.

My mother in law found her ideal home in Bhalobasha senior citizen Residency. In the midst of Nature, surrounded by warm hearted, highly efficient staff members and excellent arrangements, she lives a quality life. This place truly portrays an ideal life for senior citizens and certainly proves the so called concept of lonely life of old people's home wrong. Shamadbhai along with his great team are doing an awesome work which is highly inspiring.

Why I said it's the best, I narrate herein - After a daylong venture in SHANTINIKETAN, exhaustion comes to the body due to fatigue, we want a little shelter - I found some shelter in the search corps, this nature's garden is near Sonajhuri. No matter how strange their names were, Banalata, Shantisudha, Panhanibas, but it was as if there was no response from the mind. I found him a short distance away. ""bhaalobaasaar bhaalobaasaayy aanndbaas", which exists in its glory, is introduced to Babu Sadhan. We are full of amiable usage - let's say it in the language of Rabindranath - "dujner cokhe dekhechi jg, doNhaare dekhechi doNhe" I, talk with the head of this organization, his name - stay guys after a while - what did he listen to intensively - the story of his work - why did he create for elders, one No loss - no profit establishment. There is only one reason - so that these elders can get back from here the emotions of their lost teenagers and youth. The connotation of his universal sense of humour has become clear to me. This is really a rare perception in this society. MY 76 YEAR OLD MOTHER PERMANENTLY STAYS THERE AFTER THE UNFORTUNATE DEATH OF MY FATHER IN 2018.SHE IS HEALTHY AND JOYOUS IN THIS SITUATION, ONLY DUE TO THE HEAVENLY AMBIENT IN THE RESORT AND THE GODLY PEOPLE AT IT'S HELM OF AFFAIRS.

Hands down best momos at Shantiniketan and can beat some of the so called renowned momo offerings at Calcutta! At 40 you get mouth watering chicken steam momos with spicy green and red chutney and soup and the chutneys are good! Do try the fried momo
