It was a very nice experience staying at Bhalobashar Anandabas. The service was very good. In addition to that most unique feature of this resort is that is an old age home come resort. Another thing that I like that there was a ayurvedic conference going on there with doctors all over bengal. The location was very good , far from the crowd, near to Sonajhuri Hat
I stayed here with my family. Experience was nice. Rooms are clean and their behaviour was very good. Very quiet place and lots of trees are there. The hotel was just 5 to 7 minutes walking distance from sonajhuri haat. They have an old age home with the hotel there. Most importantly the cost was low compare to other hotels near sonajhuri.
It's very beautiful place with lots of different flowers, vegetables and fruits growing. The property is spacious, neat and comfortable. The staff was quite courteous and helpful. The food in the restaurant was well balanced and delicious, though at times the waiters had a tough time coping with all our requests all at once (we were a group of 14 senior citizens!!!) I will stay here every time I visit Shantiniketan and have recommended it to my family and friends.
There were some mosquitoes in the room. They had given a Mortein but was not at all working. Except this problem all things were excellent. Food was great and out stay was comfortable Food was good room was great with air conditioner but there were mosquitoes in the room that's was the only problem
Rooms are clean and spacious. However the double beds are combination of two single beds which is uncomfortable to sleep. Service and behaviour of the stuffs are down to earth and always helpful. Canteen is ok but bit slow to serve and food quality avg. Walkable distance from Sonajhuri haat provided you enjoy the walk back and forth.
I stayed here in month of December, though staff behaviour and food was good, something I have to mention about their hospitality they did not have any pest control, too much mosquito is the room asking several time about that they hardly did anything. Though they had TV but set top box was out of recharge . And the manager's behaviour was also little bit rude . Though hotel management claims that sonajhuri hat is nearby it is not, It was quite a long walk 15 to 20 minutes minimum. BUT the ambiance was good . But I must say ambiance was quite good. Rooms and bathroom was clean. Overall if you are looking for a hotel near sonajhuri hat don't go for this hotel, If you wanna stay in some quality time in peace, you can look in to this hotel.
Very calm place. The hotel is clean,organized and very good service with smile. The manager and the hotel staffs are very cordial and helpful towards all the boarders. The only con would be the time taken to serve food at their inhouse restaurant,which they can improve upon. Overall a very good and comfortable stay.
Overall place is good. But from my point of view, room quality was bit low. Need to be bit more clean. But from the pricing point, it was nice. Parking place was available. And about food quality, I stayed for just a night only, so I had no option to explore. But as dinner we had to have mixed noodles and chilli chicken, which was not at all good ( my personal opinion ) But one thing I must say, they behaved so well, everybody, from the manager to the room service guy named Manoranjan and one of his colleagues.
