Bhagwati Cholle Bhandar - Fast food restaurant in Haridwar - Haridwar, India

The much known Bhagwati Cholle bhandar was very different in terms of how chole bhatures are in this region. Cholle here are much more tangy due to tamarind and also oily served with a glass of boiled cholle soup. Bhaturas had a nice filling of paneer and aloo masala. The dish was very stomach filling as you get 2 huge bhaturas along with masala pyaz. Do try this unique dish although common but u shall be surprised how different haridwar bhatures are than dilli ones. Request the shop owners to keep a keen eye for shop cleanliness as it's also important as a reputation to ur outlet.

Bhagwati chole bhandar is a very famous and old place for chola bhatura. The old shop is in main haridwar near post office and the new shop is near jamuna palace. They have punjabi pindi chola with bhatura and chola tari(soup) They also have kulcha and gulab jamun. The taste of chola bhatura is really very good.

Bhagwati Chole Bhandar is located at the main market, Upper Road, Haridwar. I have tried Chole Bhature and Chhole Kulche but I was expecting Alloo Kulche but they served me ready made kulche with Chhole which was disappointing for me. Talking about the taste it was good but was not up to the mark because Chhote was much oily. Place was very suffocated to sit because of less space. Rest is Okey

I went after watching about this place on YouTube, choley were good, but got disappointed with quality of bhature and one dish called bun mix. Bun used was sweet, hence changed the taste of the dish completely. Although, the stock water of choley was good.

Visiting Bhagwati Chole Bhandar was on my bucket list. So I had very high hopes for the same. But all my hopes came crashing down. First of all, place is very cramped up. We ordered a piece of Chole Bhature and a plate of Chole chawal. Chole was oily. Bhatura was fine but the chole had a distinctive smoky flavour to it which ruined it for me atleast. We enjoy smoky flavour on tandoori items but not on chole bhature. Secondly, on chole chawal all the chole remained on top of chawal and all of its curry/tari (watery gravy) collected at the bottom of plate. Little saving grace was the chole soup. Price was on medium side. Portion size was good. Service was quick.

Very good food. They have one of the best chole bhature in the Haridwar. They give a kind of water with chole Puri ( it's called chole ka pani) is mouth watering and a must try.

Good quality and amazing taste must try

It was an amazing place simple seating system quick service but with really amazing food. We had chhole kulche and chhole bhature. Chhole were so light, you wouldn't feel any discomfort or gas in your stomach after them and would love their taste. They give a chhole soup which was really tasty and was complementary but try it after cooling it a bit and at last their lassi it was so thick and tasty it was a wholesome experience.
