It is one of the best engineering college in Bihar after IIT Patna & NIT Patna. It is very old college, established in 1960. Infrastructure is very good but there is problem of water logging in this campus due to gulf. Most of the land occupied by gulf and filled by water. Currently two new hostel has been started with good facilities. Road connectivity is good. Companies are also come for placement.

My experience at Bhagalpur College of Engineering, where I am pursuing Electronics and Communication Engineering, has been nothing short of exceptional. The IIT n IIIT of Bhagalpur is very famous, it is on NH and is very big. Construction is on for other deptts. Have good Mess (both veg n non veg facilities. Climate is very cozy. Superb hostel facilities for both girls n boys. Students are mainly from Bihar and Bengal.

Good infrastructure, cooperative seniors, Best faculty, you can participate in different clubs like photography, nukkad natak,dance,robotics, drawing and paintings,etc. Nice environment, college is located in sabour. Near Rani talab, local markets are tilka manjhi chowk, zero mile chowk and sabour market.

Top Among All Bihar Engineering College

College has big campus but there is pools of water here and there and a lot of cows loitering around too ,not clean not hygienic enough.... The admission process is very hectic/chaotic ...not good at proceeding the docs ....rude behaviour from staffs is also a negative point .Faced a lot of problem paying fees and whatnot ....After all the processes the Principal madam also gave a lot of trouble during admission as medical certificate was not within the file she refused to sign the doc of almost 70-150 students saying it is required right now(while it was announced that it had to be submitted in 5-7days,also was followed on other colleges) and said if medical was not available all students should have said so as she would call one after almost ending the day on just meagre processes(5pm)and we had to wait for the med. Professional after he came he exorbitantly charge 500 per med. Cert. ....I had a thought that can this be a excuse of madam principal for money earning(black money)..... Overall....was very sad with all the happenings that such old college had these coNcle .... So,recommend other college such as BCE bakhtiyarpur,Nce chandi,Gec gaya over this / / / Padhayi sav jgh same hoti hai anywas Thanks for reading
