Very good place to visit. Limited parking area. Last 600 m road is bad. There's no security, one has to be very careful if you want to get down to check dam. It was a excellent scenic place. No rest room, no restaurant or no shops. Good village view while enroute. Google map guidance is very good. This dam is over bhadra river. I saw people getting down to get into water. One has to be very careful, water is at full speed and slippery rocks
The place apes balamuri of kaveri & mathhur check dam water flows. Water is clean but the place is not. Local administration should take it seriously to develop this. It's. Going to be a great picnic spot.

Superb outing for children, especially during the summer.
They will not allow you to enter the check dam. But if you follow the road downstream, you can enter the river and take bath. The place is local and people who come are not tourists, but locals.
