Being close to our house, we used to visit this place quite often and we still do that sometimes. This is one of the go to destinations for morning walk for the people living nearby. In rainy season, the view becomes awesome when the dam is full of water surrounded by green hills. Since height of the dam is not much, when the gates are open the view is not that great , but still ok. Too much crowd would be there in rainy seasons specifically on weekend. Weekdays are good.
Bhadbhada Dam is one of the beautiful place in the lake city Bhopal. It is at upper lake which is used to control the water of Kaliasot river during heavy rainfall. The dam has 11 gates. During rains the dam is full and gates are opened. It is the best time to visit this place. Though people love to come here through out the year but rains are the best time. At that time you can get the most scenic views...with lush green surroundings and soothing music of water. click some awesome pictures or have a walk or enjoy the breeze or sit calmly to enjoy the nature. You can enjoy the place as you want. Though the place is good but it needs some maintenance also.

It is a nice view with no cost to enter you can also go to sair sapata which is nearly 4 km from bhadbhada but you need to buy tickets for sair sapata.
