Nice place. Good food. First time trying Mizo food. Was expecting something else. Turned out so much better. Will definitely recommend the Sanpiau with pork, Arsa Sawhchiar (Rice Chicken Broth). The pork chow did not have oil. I was so surprised by its taste. The place is very popular as can be seen from the tables being completely occupied. Prices are decent but got stumped when we had to pay the bill.
Also the gentleman at the counter is of caucasian descent with white hair. Best part is that we were in Don Bosco Square in a mizo restaurant run by a white gentleman playing Jazz. Just can't get any better.
It's a great place to have filling food when hungry. The price is reasonable and it is very well known for it's spicy chutney
Pocket friendly. Chicken Grilled Sandwich is my all time favorite item from this bistro. Worth trying for except that carry your cash. Online payment is not available. And don't forget to indulge in Mizo Thali as well.
Must try Aloo chop, Sanpiau and mixed fried Rice. Good food. Beverages are not reasonable. Some items are pricy but there are also cheap items available too. Causal place and college students favorite.

This place is situated in one of the busy streets of laitumkhrah where most of the schools and colleges are so the atmosphere is full of youth which is pretty nice since it makes it more lively. The place is quite small though so it becomes packed during peak hours.
The food here is okayish. I had the pork chow and chicken momo in Chinese cuisine and honestly it wasn't so great. The chow tasted like the regular chow you'd prepare at home which is not a bad thing really but it's just that i expected more. Coming to the quantity, it is sufficient for one person.
I did try a mizo cuisine, sianpiau which is a sort of rice and namkeen in a lemon grass flavoured soup. They also serve a side chutney which is extremely spicy and if you have a high tolerance for spicy food then you will definitely like it. I have a medium tolerance for spicy food but i liked the chutney. I found thr sianpiau nice so maybe next time i need to order a local dish instead.
The service is okay and it's quite reasonable. The only con is that they don't accept any online payments here, only cash payments. It would be nice if they started digital payments too. Just a suggestion from my side.
Yes, the food is spicy and yes I absolutely loved it. The green soup called Bai was my favorite thing. And I have immense respect for everyone who can eat that chutney!!!!
The two reason behind visiting this shop over and over again is the great Sanpaiu and the chutney.
