BEST LADIES HOSTEL/LADIES PG - Girl's Hostel in Chennai - Chennai, India

First of all why the hell is a man responding on call for a woman's hostel? All the bad reviews are right here. Ill-mannered only enquiring about room. Can't even think of staying. Even if tariff says clearly 7200 single sharing is available and you specify that you don't want deluxe the man keeps arguing like a goon. This hostel needs to shut down. They will reply something to defend themselves. Remember if owners are justifying something is wrong, real good hostels never bother to reply bad reviews. They show it with their work. Not advisable. Don't call. Don't go!!

Very poor in hygiene. What you see in google is not the actual . This is the dirtiest place ever in the planet. There is no proper cleaning done for the rooms. They will rob the money from you in the name of rent. They will increase the rent at anytime. The behaviour of the owners are not good and its rude. Using unnecessy words at the night time. They advantage of us, during night time you can not suddenly change to hotel. I felt insecure in that place and the next day my sister ha s vacated the place with the help og relatives.

F7 single sharing The worst experience nu solradha Vida no safety at all nu solradhu dha unmai. When we had current issues (not for entire building. Some rooms had current but most of us didn't have) in the night from 9.30pm few days back, most of the girls went for asking the owner. They didn't respond to our call neither came out and asked our problem. We all were standing outside till 1.30am ( owner had UPS in his house and servents had current so they all went and slept). Some of the parents were also calling them. They didn't pick the call. Later, they cameout by 1.30am. When we asked about the issue, he said "unganaala mudunjadha pannikonga" "istam illati udane hostel ah vacate pannitu po" and he pointed one girl and Said "ippadilam question pannena na enna pannuvane theriyadhu" that too in front of his wife. Today when I went to vacate hostel with my mom, that lady was not ready to giveback deposit money. My EB bill was 90rupees ( she already wrote and kept in her Diary). She said there is problem in meter board so I can't give you money. My mom said that is not our mistake and my daughter stayed here only for 4 to 5 days this month. So, you can detect that amount and give back balance for which she literally threw the amount on our face and said " adha eduthutu ponga". When I told her not to behave like this to my mom, she asked me "un amma enna periya VIP ahh?" We took our Vehicle and while coming out she came back of us and said that I called her and threatened. When I asked her the evidence on which day I called her and to show the call log infront of all, she changed the topic. And most of the days, the water will be either dark brown or yellow in colour along with dust and worms. I have all the photos. I would have tagged here if I had the option. I admitted in hospital twice after coming to this hostel. Still I have lot more to say but I just highlighted the main things. I suffered a lot after coming here. Not only myself, few months back they asked a girl to vacate the hostel and go out immediately around 8.30pm as she questioned them about worms in water and drainage smell in water that we are using to brush and bath. There are many girls like this, who suffered here and they too have pics of water, food,etc... the only thing they say when we question anything " unnala mudunjadha panniko. Engalai ellam unnala edhuvum panna mudiyadhu. Ne yaara venum naalum koopudu....."I Don't want other girls to have my experience. I highly recommend not to come to this PG. You can stay here until you don't question them about anything. Once you ask about food, water or current. They will start targetting you. Both husband and wife will be VERY VERY RUDE. And cleaning work will be done once or twice in a week. I'm not exaggerating anything here. I'm justing posting 50% of what I experienced. And girls who stayed here knows that most of the reviews and ratings are all fake.

I was in this hostel for two months every single day water issue I faced , rooms are compact and dirty they say its a ladies hostel but lots of mens will there in the entrance they sit it feel uncomfortable and here comes the warden worst family is saw money mind people the warden speak to muchh. Yes I stayed in velachery shastri nagar hostel only

i came to this pg after hearing about it from my roommate. I was a bit scared and just wanted a good environment that i could have after working for so long. It's been a month since I've been coming here every day and it is the best experience. Such friendly and lovely family with always a smile on their face, the staffs are all so good to us. Everyone takes care of us like family. I never feel like I'm away from home because of them. And i would always recommend everyone to come here to stay. These people are the best genuine one's i could find. They are my 2nd family.

I came here from West Bengal and this pg is so good their staying place and food is superb getting good food as I m north Indian is tough but the food is really tasty .... It's full filling the surrounding and vibe is so positive around it .... That it's hard to leave the area is really good and the owners are so good feels like family if u face any issue they will take care of you like ur family You won't get best place than this to stay and live and eat .... would like to suggest this place to everyone who is coming here for the first time. They are the most reliable people and genuinely take care of everyone like parents.

This is the best hostel in Velachery with best facilities and best food And It was very good experience and the owner of this hostel is very friendly

I stayed in this Hostel for 7 Months in 3 sharing Non AC . Best is Only in the Name. Hostel is not Best. Don't go to this Hostel for the Name. Owner and His wife are money minded people. For washing machine They are charging 50 Rs. It is not free and have to pay for every time use. They are providing Auto facility to only Velachery bustand and not to nearby offices like Tidal Park , TCS etc. Water facility is poor. It will stop at anytime when you are bathing. Sometimes Water will come with Smell and in some grey colour.Full of Biased Behaviour. They will give your Cot to anyone if you are going to ur native / out of Chennai. They will make money out of it and gain profit when you are not staying in your room. Any random people will come and stay in your room and they will leave which is not comfortable and those roomates Privacy are disturbed. 3 & 4 sharing rooms are not spacious and congested rooms only. While I am staying there rent was increased and it is High and it's not moderate. Hostel is dirty and cleaning is not gud. Cleaning lady will not clean properly. Food is not so gud. Sometimes Rice will not be there after 1.30 PM bcos They will not measure and cook according to the count of people in hosteI. I had a very worst experience staying in this Hostel. My Rating is 1 / 10 . Please don't go to this Hostel.
