Best Homestay in Bhimtal, Nainital - Emerald Trail - Resort hotel in Bhimtal, Harnagar Jangalia Gaon - Nainital, India

The Homestay was exactly what we needed. Beautiful surroundings clean comfortable bed and pillows. We stayed with my parents here for two days, the Emeraldtrail is really a perfect one for families, it's too decent, the receptionists were soo friendly and humble, they proceeded us with faster check in and check out. The service was good food was delicious, at last I loved it and advice you to visit once:

Emerald Trail Bhimtal offers a tranquil and serene environment, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat. The resort's location is one of its standout features, surrounded by lush greenery and offering breathtaking views of the hills and the nearby Bhimtal Lake. The natural beauty of the surroundings creates a sense of tranquility and allows guests to reconnect with nature. The accommodation at Emerald Trail Bhimtal is comfortable and well-appointed. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy atmosphere for guests. The resort offers a variety of room options to cater to different needs and preferences.

Decent property. The fact that they have a huge space for pets to roam about freely is very thoughtful and probably their only USP. Other than that, the food is terrible. The prices are insanely high, as if serving a gourmet meal. They have very smartly taken full advantage of the fact that they are in the middle of nowhere and you get nothing, so each item on the menu is charged a bomb. Overall, a very boring place. Not going to visit again in this lifetime. 2 stars for being super dog friendly. That's about it. Cut short my stay by a day. Not recommended.

Awesome location. Breathtaking views from each cottage. Every cottage has a huge fenced land for your pet to be comfortable. Pet food is also on the menu. Lots of greenery and peace. Have been there 4 times already now. They have recently updated the rooms to make them more comfortable. Staff are very friendly.

Peaceful and green. We went on a bag pack trip to Ranikhet and on the way back we needed to stop by for the night for a day's stay as we had a train the next day evening. We called the manager Mr. Anand and he gave us directions to Emerald Trail. We reached in the dark, so we were a bit confused on what the place was about. On check in the estate manager Lalitji gave us a cottage which was cozy. The next day, we were pleasantly surprised to see the entire place. It's a huge place with cottages around and has a lot of greenery around. The place is kept clean and food is great. The chef served us with a mutton dish which is apparently quite a specialty of the place. We had to leave the same day otherwise we were all mentally set to extend the stay by a few more days to soak in the peace and quiet before going back to the city madness. If you have not visited this place, it should be on your list. Ask for the cottage facing the road if you need privacy

Lovely warm place Our vacation at Emerald trail was over the week of independence day. We booked the stay with a group on a recommendation of a friend. We were told that the staff and the people are warm and it truly lived up to the expectation. The food was scrumptious and tasty. Prakashji was always very courteous attending to our small requests. But the main person who truly enjoyed the stay was our one year old lab Ruffy. He had such a great vacation playing in the outdoors and just doing his thing. We may find many resorts that we think are good, but this one was special as it made our Ruffy and all of us come back home with a broad smile.

Probably the best pet friendly Home stay, amazing location and nicely maintained property lovely villas, food was average but overall great place to be. We had a lovely time with our pet during our stay. Special thanks to Mr Lalit and team for the great service and for taking special care of my pet and Mr Anand for helping me smooth reservation process. Look forward to visit again soon. Thumbs up

A very nice and well maintained home stay. It is spread across a large hectare of land with 180 degree view of the hills. This is the living room of the home stay which acts as a central point for large families coming here to stay, as it connects the dining area, 2 other rooms on the ground floor itself and 2 rooms on the first floor accessible via wooden stairs. Some minor infrastructure improvements can be done in this property which will enhance its looks further and also make it more appealing and comfortable for the next 10 years at least. P.S.: I had visited this place in June 2019.
